Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer this rare opportunity to own a totally original, AND Driveable/Dependable 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan!! If you can get past the paint, which isn't so awful< you will just LOVE this car!!! The 64's are quite significant being the last Cadillac to have fins!!!! Also, first year for 429 engine, and the TH400 Transmission!!! This particular example has spent most of it's life in Minnesota. It was purchased at an estate/Liquidation sale, and ended up in my backyard. I purchased it from a fellow who just did not have the means to care for it properly, or bring it to the level that you see here. It is mechanically fantastic with me doing a full brake service(Hoses, cylinders etc.),and an oil and filter change. I also had the four "L78x15" bias plies removed, and had 4 new Radials fitted. Someone else recently did the exhaust. There is a copy of a service bill below, from 2001, with 24,997 miles. It now has 25,211...and I put 57 of those on myself! So....It hasn't been on the road in almost 15 Years! This Fleetwood now runs and drives like a dream!!!! It has been ultra dependable, and has not even had as much as the slightest hiccup!!!! What is totally amazing to me is HOW NICE this Cadillac really is, being as it came from Minnesota. I cannot find any hint of rust anywhere!!! The chrome is bright and shiny with zero signs of pitting or damage. There is a very small ding down low on the passengers side of the rear bumper....That is It!!!! All stainless is nice and straight with nice shine to it. All gaps and shut lines are nice and straight!! With a nice paint job, this one will be a show stopper!!! This is a totally original, never been apart 1964 Cadillac. The left rear quarter panel has had paint....That is all! I didn't even have it detailed. I washed it and took pictures. The interior is in perfect condition, and should clean up to look like a new 50 year old Cadillac!!! All power equipment works well, EXCEPT.......Passenger front vent window, and left rear door windows are not working. Radio squeals. Clock(of course), A/C blows, but not cold. Vacuum locks lock, but don't unlock(loose hose?). Everything else works fine, and this Cadillac hits the road 100%. As I mentioned above, get past the paint, and you have a REALLY nice original 50 year old Cadillac here! It is the worst part of the car! Note the condition of the chrome.....It it utterly amazingly NICE!! The bumper ends all around have no rot, or pits showing. That is amazing for an original 50 year old car! Notice how nice and straight all of the bumper gaps are! Never any damage! No pits or rust here! In this Photo you can see how nice and straight the rear bumper alignment is. Looks like it did 50 years ago!. As I'm sure you all know, it is very typical to have some rust under the vinyl top. The roof will develop little bumps underneath the material. This one is not near as bad as some I have seen! All emblems are present and accounted for!. There is no mistake!! This is definitely the top of the line Cadillac!!!! Notice how nice and straight the front bumper and grille area are! Extremely hard to duplicate originality!! . No pits or rust on the front bumper!ll! The wood throughout our 60 Special is simply Gorgeous. Again, totally original! No rust in the jambs! None of the typical cracks here!! Our 1964 Fleetwood still proudly wears its factory floor mats!! Front carpet is threadbare in spots, but no holes. The sumptuous interior is in fantastic condition and is certainly commensurate with the low mileage and excellent care our Gorgeous 64 Fleetwood has seen throughout its 50 year life. Beautiful 60's style dash with plenty of chrome. Still original, and in perfect condition! This is the bottom of the left rear door. Beautiful wood only found in the Fleetwood....The pinnacle of luxury. This is at the back of the the left rear door opening! This is the bottom of the right rear door! This one came out of a private collection in North Carolina, and has never been exposed to the rust demon! The fellow who owned this Gorgeous Cadillac had several others to keep it company. It was driven regularly, and always properly maintained. It was treated to one respray, including fresh bumper fillers all around. As you will notice in the photos below, the interior was completely replaced with new. Yes, of course it is leather, and yes it does look as good in person as it does in the photos!!! 1960 Cadillac 62 Series 6 Window Sedan Only 56,000 Actual Miles Original Survivor Cold Factory Air Conditioning Runs and Drives Fantastic!! Rare Opportunity............................LOW RESERVE Extra Nice Cadillac!! Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly one of the nicest 1960 Caddys Available anywhere! 1960, IMHO was the re-designed '59!! We ALL love 1959 Cadillacs, with those huge fins, and quad bullet tail lights. I spent many hours in one as a child, and those memories are etched in my mind forever!! I am now 61, and that was at least 50 years ago! We travelled from Pittsburgh, Pa to Milwaukee Wisconsin in one more than once. Four small children in the backseat with no DVD players, or even a walkman!! I am surprised that we all survived!! This particular example has spent most of it's life in New York State. I purchased it from a fellow who just did not have the means to care for it properly, or bring it to the level that you see here. I believe that it has had one repaint sometime in it's life. It is mechanically fantastic with fresh brakes(lines, cylinders etc.), and new dual exhaust from front to back. The floors and frame are totally solid and original, with no patching noted anywhere. We had the car painted from the molding down, and Expertly re-patched the bottoms of both front fenders. The chrome is bright and shiny with some light pitting on the trunk molding that you can feel, and some on the rear bumper that you can't feel, but can see on close up inspection. You will note in the many detailed photos below, that there is a small rust hole in the right rear bumper end. Easily repaired or replaced next winter while the Caddy is in storage! The Fawn interior is original with the exception of the front seat, and the headliner. Both have been expertly restored with original materials from SMS by the famous Weimann's interiors in Delmont, Pa! As you will see in the photos below, it is simply Gorgeous, and looks just like it did in 1960!! There is one typical crack in the dashpad. I decided to let the lucky new owner decide what to do with this...Dash cap, or new pad, or leave as is. Everything works as it should with the exception of the clock, and the power antenna. All power windows and seat, along with the AM Radio. What is nice about this one is that is has Factory installed A/C that blows cold! This is a Gorgeous 1960 Cadillac that runs and drives fantastic. It always starts right up, and has been ultra-dependable!!! I have driven it a few hundred miles with no noted issues. It has been a pleasure, and rides just as you would expect a Cadillac to ride...like you are on a cloud! As you will notice at the end of the presentation, there is a trail of ownership from 1960 until now. Long term ownership indicates care and pride, which I believe this 1960 Cadillac has enjoyed it's entire life!!! As with all classic and collectable vehicles, this 1960 Cadillac is being sold without warranty. It has a clean Pennsylvania title that reads exempt for mileage. Pure Class and Luxury I love the headlight covers. They are so period! I was told that they are called "Sleepy Eyes". They enable you to use High Beams all the time!!! WAY Cool!!! I consider this gorgeous work of art "Automotive Jewelry". The door panels are totally original! The front seat has been completely restored with original fabric from SMS.....It looks like it did in 1960! The headliner has also been replaced with one from SMS....It is just Beautiful!! The rear seat is totally original, as are the carpets. The rear shelf is lovely! Just Gorgeous. The original dash pad is nice and straight, with only one crack. I decided to let the next caretaker decide what to do with this! IIce cold factory installed Air Conditioning! The trunk is also original, and is in really nice condition, with all tools and jacking equipment present!! As I am not a "rattle can" artist, I decided to leave the engine compartment as found. The new owner can decide whether to leave it original, or freshen it up a bit, or do a full blown detail. TNote the original A/C compressor with the factory stampings!!
