Take a step back in time! This is a great example of an unrestored and unmodified Cadillac Hearse/Ambulance combo car. It is a Miller Meteor with the big 425 V8. Engine runs great and drives down the road well. Has a big 4BBL carburetor. Of course that is a few inches smaller than the year before which boasted the big 500 CID, but this is the first year of the "new" big body style. The car has been in private collections for several years, most recently in South Carolina but also spent time in Texas. I have an open/signed South Carolina title ready for new owner. Tires have very low miles on them. Interior is in good shape. Brand new front carpet. I repaired rear door upholstery panels and a few areas that were loose. (I had them refastened via professional upholsterer.) Car also has a siren that works. Presents well. Has a few areas in the paint that could use work and a few bumps but it's not priced like a restored vehicle. This is a 40 year old car and was used as an ambulance. It is not a restored unit but has been repainted/repaired at various junctures. Solid 20 footer. All pics are super sized for best perspective/view. Some of the areas that are "below the knee cap" in the rear quarter panel and along the bottom side of the back door on passenger side could be pushed out, I just haven't gotten into it enough to pull out parts of interior to access lower quarter panels in rear. It's a rare bird and represents the end of an era as Cadillacs were being used for hearse work and Ford van and truck chassis took over the ambulance industry due to new government regulations for rescue vehicles. I have put many pictures on the ad but if you need additional pics let me know. You can call or text me at 270-872-7507. This is my personal cell and I am on Eastern Time. If you know someone in the area and would like to have them take a look be my guest. I'll be glad to show/test drive. If you are in need of shipping assistance, I can work with the buyer as I have a trailer and truck that is long enough to handle the car. (Same trailer I used to get it home!) Thx for checking out the ad!

RUST FREE Reduced Reserve well under book value! If you want a fascinating piece of automotive history, look no further than this 1989 Cadillac Allante! In the late eighties, Cadillac wanted to enter the ultra-luxury car market and compete with cars such as the Mercedes SL500. At a price of almost $60,000 in 1989, the Allante sold in limited quantities mostly due to price, around 3500 were made in 1989. Designed and hand-built by the famous Italian design firm Pininfarina, in Turin Italy, and shipped by plane back to Michigan where Cadillac installed motors and suspension. Recaro leather power seats, Carrello headlights, Bosch suspension, Bose Audio (not functioning), there is a lot of neat stuff in this car! Automatic, 160k miles, runs and drives great, handles well. NO RUST! ORIGINAL PAINT! Beautiful digital dash, luxurious interior. Best enjoyed with no roof! COLD AC! New compressor and related parts installed this spring with a year warranty! 4.5 liter V8 (fwd) making 200 HP. Pretty quick! (This is not the Northstar motor, that is only 93 models.) Newer Michelin tires! Original Manual folding soft top in excellent condition. One person can fold down the top in one minute or less. Glass heated rear window. Includes aluminum hardtop that goes on in winter, as well as a storage stand for the top! There is a YouTube video that explains top operation. It isn't hard and it all works fine. It's ready to get in and drive!Makes a fanatically fun daily driver, or start taking it to car shows and work on the minor stuff as you go! It's a dependable classic car, but like anything, age will bring about a few minor issues. It's a really nice car, but of course I want to be up front about any attention it needs. It is a 27 year old vehicle, it isn't perfect, but a beautiful driver. New front brake pads, had rear inspected, they are over 50% remaining. New chrome tip welded on rear exhaust. In last photo. I do have the original non-chrome one, but I don't know why you'd want it back. Issues/ annoyances: Minor dings/ hard to notice scuffs. See photos. It shows beautifully.Paint is gorgeous, clear coat imperfections on front bumper only is visible up close. Turn signals work fine, but the indicator does not light up on the dash. Does leak a small amount of oil. (had my mechanic look at it, it's the $6 oil pan gasket. I have a new gasket ready to install. I was planning on having it put on with the next oil change. I always keep an eye on it. I only use full synthetic. Bose Radio only picks up static. For now, I use a Bluetooth rechargeable speaker that lasts many hours on a charge. Passenger power seat may need a motor on right side. Most functions work, it will not slide forward or backward easily. Horn does not honk. May be a fuse or relay. I will try to work on this. Error Codes:ABS message on driver information center. Car stops fine. "Cooling Fan Fault" sometimes appears on the screen. It does not get hot while driving. One of the electric fans may need looked at. Passenger door power lock is slow. Overall, it is a beautiful car, ready to drive, but as with any classic, it will have a few annoyances that can be resolved over a few weekends. I just haven't had time. Come take a look if you're interested and nearby. If you have any questions, text me anytime. I can't always answer the phone, but can text pretty much anytime. I can also try and schedule a FaceTime walk around if you want to get a good virtual test drive. Listed Locally, I have the right to cancel the auction. Don't bid if you don't have the money, it is a binding agreement to purchase the car at the disclosed price. If you have questions, please ask BEFORE bidding. 270-769-8068 Buyer is responsible for shipping. Fly in and drive it home! I trust this car to regularly go on 100 mile trips. It is a 27-year old car, but I would trust it to drive home any large distance. it runs great and has excellent tires, handles the highway wonerfully. Clean KY title in hand in my name. $500 deposit due over PayPal within 48 hours. Full amount due within a week of auction end. Cash or Certified check in person. No scams. If you have an alternate payment method, please ASK first. This is a vehicle you will enjoy owning. I have enjoyed every moment driving it, it is a blast to have the top down. I highly recommend a FaceTime walk around or a test drive in person. It is a really fun car. I forgot to mention, I am a member of the national Allante Club. They schedule car shows and road trips. They are a fun and knowledgeable bunch, well worth the $40/year membership. They also have accessories and neat memorabilia that they sell. I have a set of floor mats I believe are original, I have put them in the large trunk to keep them in great shape for car shows. The vinyl mats that are in the car now do a great job. : I also added a few more photos with the hardtop on. I'm still debating whether I like the look of the hardtop or no top better! A picture is worth a thousand words, check out my newest additions. Also, feel free to text me 24/7. I can't always answer calls, but will return them if a message is left. I would love to give a virtual test drive over FaceTime to any seriously interested buyer. 270-769-8068
