The vehicle needs the CRM replaced, which is a computer chip in the front of the vehicle that controls some of the gauges and security system. It is drive-able without. The dealership wants to charge $800 to replace the CRM, however I have found the part for as low as $300 online and from my understanding, the "switch" is quite simple.
