Back Story: The Blue 1970 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible was PERFECT.... then I was hit from behind at a traffic light, and it was declared a total loss. I bought the car back from the insurance company, and I have the salvage title for it. Although the Blue car does run, and is drive-able, I mainly bought it as a parts car. The white top is practically brand new. I bought the Red 1971 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible, and started to swap some parts from the Blue car to the Red car. I am now selling both to clear room for a new project. Very Solid 70 Skylark, Very, Very little rust. Sat in a barn from 1993 until 2011. I have the barn find pics. Tons of Money spent on this project. No expense spared up to this point. 2004 6.0 liter LQ4 & L480e out of Chevy work truck. 2009 Trailblazer SS intake, Edelbrock Throttle body. Custom headers and Wire Harness from "Street & Performance" New Aluminum Rad, Electric Fans, Stainless Fuel tank From "Rockvalley" New "in tank" fuel pump and new custom lines.New 4 wheel disc brake set up new in the boxes. Custom Drive Shaft... New oil & Water pumps, Moroso oil pan. 15 x 7 chevy rallies mounted on almost new tires. Very nice original Interior. Tried to take pics of the bad rust spots. Mostly around the back window. I know I'm missing a ton of stuff.. I have a stack of receipts The Car Starts, Runs and Drives.. Doesn't stop very well... Please ask questions. 1969 Buick Skylark GS Coupe This Gran Sport is a two owner car that looks like new and has won numerous awards. When it was actively campaigned from 1997-2009 it received over 35 1st place awards, 6 best of show awards and every award possible from the AACA, Buick Club of America and the GSCA. It scored 396 out of 400 points at one outing. It is powered by the 350ci 280hp V8 engine with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission. Options include ralley package, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power seat power windows, AM radio with 8 track player, rear defogger, tilt wheel, sport suspension (w/sway bars), 14" rally rims, vinyl roof, door edge guards, remote driver's mirror, tissue dispenser and floor mats. It includes tons of documentation and information on the restoration of this car. Also, has the owner's manual , duplicate window sticker, original bill of sale and factory build sheet. It would be hard to find a better documented and expertly restored 1969 Buick or any other car for that matter. The original owner drove this as a family car up till 1987 at which time he started the frame off restoration. In April 1997 the restoration was completed since then it has been driven to local and out of state car shows. It has the original interior and matching numbers.

The engine is a V8 215 cu.in. with 200 horsepower. Automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, 62,200 miles. Interior is in great condition except for a tear in driver side armrest, driver seat and small tear in the headliner. Recent work completed includes: clean fuel tank and lines, rebuild carb, new plugs, new fuel pump, new battery, rebuilt power brake booster, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, muffler, u joint, lower ball joints, motor mount, and tires. All lights, signals, horn, heater and fan work. Interior is light blue cloth and vinyl with a dark teal carpet. The radio does work if antenna is connected. Cigar lighter works but clock does not. Floors and trunk are solid. The only rust is a small spot about two by three inches at the bottom of the driver side wheel well (see pic). Included are a spare tire, jack assembly and a repair manual. Window glass is clear and windows all work fine. Chrome is in very good condition. Transmission is two speed and shifts fine. Wheels are thirteen inch with original wheel covers. New Pennsylvania safety inspection expires December 2015
