1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible This is a real true survivor it has 110,600 original miles on it . It is for the most part pretty original. The engine is a 350 4bbl from a 1977 Fullsize Buick , lots of power from that boat plus modern HEI , original TH 350 Auto Trans . No rust or even a hint of rust , clean floors and trunk floor . The body has a professional newer modern base coat clear coat two stage urethane refinish in the original color Antique Gold . I took close up photos of each panel to prove how good straight smooth and glossy the paint job is, just look at the mirror like gloss and reflection in the paint. The convertible top and all hydraulic related parts are all brand new this year . The top frame was completely stripped and refinished in semi gloss black . The interior is all 100% original including the factory Buick Tri Shield Crested floor mats . Perfect dash, factory AC, power windows and power bench seat . Also new this year complete front and rear drum brakes overhaul , master cylinder and new BFG white letter tires on original nice Buick Sport Wheels. This car runs and drives very good ,absolutely no disappointments with this car . I am selling this wonderful car reluctantly. It is as original as you can get. I replaced the carpet, cleaned the radiator, new radiator hoses, new starter, new fuel filter, new distributor cap/rotor with wires and plugs to the the specs of the original issue. The rest of the car is as it came off the assembly. There isn't any rust on the vehicle (maybe 2 or 3 pinhead areas that you have to look really close to see near seams), but the car is 52 years old and a gem. It has had a repaint about 2 years ago. The tires are excellent, the paint is wonderful and the dash area is pristine. The headliner is in good shape with one small tear (see Buick patch), the seats are in good shape (drivers is electric slider and has small tear in vinyl). The motor is the rare aluminum block 215 V8 that is 200 hp with a rebuilt 4bbl original carb. The car has had a new muffler installed too. I am the 3rd owner and the previous owner had it only a short time after getting it from an estate auction. The car comes with the original dealer documentation and will make a great car for anyone who loves ORIGINAL non hacked up, modified cars. I am selling this on other venues so it may end early. Re-listing this car for non payment and no contact after sale. DON'T bid if you are not intending to follow through with purchase. 1971 Buick Skylark Custom 4DR. 84000 original miles. New transmission less than 200 miles ago. 350 engine that runs good. exhaust leak at manifold so runs loud. drives out good. There is rust popping through in several places. shown in pics. had a new top not long ago but there are some bumps by back window which would indicate rust beneath. Dent front passenger fender also pictured. The front bumper is also tweeked and doesn't line up properly. Missing one factory hubcap. looks like 2 in pics but one is in trunk. After market steering wheel. (actually a very expensive one but its there)!! Belt is off of AC compressor so who knows? Tires acceptable but definitely far from new. Interior good condition but tears in drivers seat. Carpets not good but not bad. The could be and has been used as a daily driver. I would suggest fixing the exhaust issue. Might be doughnut gasket I did not look. 84000 ORIGINAL MILES. Please ask questions if you are unsure about something!!
