We are selling a rare 1967 Buick real GS convertible. Only around 2200 of these built in 1967. How many could be left? This one needs full restoration. The numbers matching motor was rebuilt in 2007 and we have had it running and sounds great with no noise or smoking. The body is not bad. I don't think you would need quarters, just lower quarters. The top is electric and works with some help. There is no gas tank and no battery. You will have to flat bed or tow this. Needs interior and new top. engine compartment has been detailed. Star wars air cleaner is there and has been restored. I was told by last owner that transmission was fine, but I have never tried to move the car. The big thing is frame, floors and trunk floor need replaced. These frames are out there. I have located a man that has 2 and they have been sand blasted and power coated. He is asking $1700 each. We bought it to restore, but we have been so busy we can not get to it. We have other projects and customers cars we are restoring. The convertible boot in the pictures does not go with the car it is from a different convertible and would not fit anyway. It was just for looks when taking pictures. We are offering for sale a beautiful 1970 Buick GSX tribute. The color is aqua mist and gets a lot of compalments especially from the lady's. The paint is very nice and recent. Nice straght car. The 455 motor was receiently rebuilt and is very fast. has about 500 hp. Has a eldebrock performer Buick 455 intake, headers and 3" flowermaster type exhaust. The autometic transmission is a turbo 400 and the rear is posi. Power steering. New battery, brake booster and master cylinder. Brakes are new. The paint shows well and the bumpers were chromed and are show quality. Has the rear wing and hood tack. The vynil roof looks new (no bubbles under it) No bubbles on car body. Under is nice also. Floors, frame, trunk. Interior is excellent. New seat covers, carpet, and sill plates. All professionaly done. All new GSX badges on quarters and in the front grill. It even has the GSX badge above the glove box door as you can see in one of the pics. I took this car to the World Series of Cars in Jamestown, N.Y. just a couple weeks ago and it won a trophy.
