This cool convertible was originally sold in Dallas, Texas at Roberts Buick in 1970. See picture of the last window stickers that said 1995/96 Texas. It sat in a barn/garage for 20 years until this year! I was able to get it up and running in January. It has fuel delivery issue, transmission leaks and needs to be rebuilt as does engine. To get it running it has new spark plugs, fresh oil change and doesn't appear to leak oil. Original Radiator Rebuilt and in great shape. I was able to drive it around the block a few times until she stalled out. Needs fuel line cleaned out and gas tank cleaned out better. Also needs carb rebuilt, new fuel pump, and new starter. Has antique plates until 2018, plates do not come with vehicle. Clear Texas Title in my name. Look around and you will see similar 1970 Buick Skylark GS Tribute cars that have been FULLY RESTORED that are NOW for sale for up to $80,000 just like this one I am offering you unrestored right now. Make no mistake, this is one you can buy, restore, and sell for MUCH MORE! Car is Not Running, and radiator, belts, water pump, and fan were removed for new water pump to be installed. Comes with two sets of keys AND the ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL plus all paperwork and documents from previous owner, as well as receipts for what I've done to it so far. I was told this was a one owner car before me with the original numbers matching engine, it appears to be as such. I have not verified this info. Odometer Shows 57,000 probably 157,000 true mileage unknown. Please ask questions BEFORE bidding. The very FIRST PERSON to make a best offer of $5,500 wins this car and this auction will be over. I will accept that offer and no less. No games, No hassles, No less, and No BS please, no lower price negotiations in person after sale are allowed. I only sell to continental US. Thank you for looking. Disclaimer: The last three pictures in ad are NOT this vehicle, they are to show you what it could look like when fully restored. Similar to GTO convertible and Chevelle Convertible and all GM A body vehicles. Barn Find Sold As Is Needs Complete Restoration and is NOT running. Factory AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Automatic Top Still works! It goes down fine, sticks on way up. To be honest it needs new top. Below window is torn with dry rot around rear window. All tires hold air for transport. Vehicle does not come with battery. It has rust, dings, dents, etc. Entire Vehicle Needs Complete Rebuild. (Engine, Transmission, and Body.) Sold AS IS. $1000 Paypal Deposit is non-refundable, serious buyers only please. Buyer responsible for towing, shipping, transport, etc. There will be no lower price negotiations done in person after sale. This awesome ride can EASILY be cloned and turned into a Gran Sport Tribute Car, or as some spell it Buick Grand Sport, or into a Buick GS, Buick GS Stage 1, Buick GS Stage One, or Buick GSX Convertible Clone. All you have to do is replace the rusty hood with a Buick GS Hood with Scoops, add Buick GS Grille, add Buick GS Emblems, add Buick GS Rallye Rims, take out the original numbers matching buick 350 engine to rebuild it or replace it with a Buick GS 455 Engine and Buick GS 455 Air Filter and BAM! You have a Buick Gran Sport Tribute car that will sell for anywhere from $25,000 to $80,000 or more!!! These are getting much more rare and hard to find UNRESTORED. Only 4,954 of these skylark custom convertibles were produced in 1970 making this an extremely rare classic convertible collector car. Get it now while you can still restore it any way you like.
