1964 Buick Riviera - Restoration Ready - Barn Find - Complete - MUST SELL!! This is the First Generation Riviera (1963-1965) and has been in storage approximately 20 years. It was purchased in 1978 by the previous owner and has not been driven for a couple of decades. The first two pictures of the car were professionally taken of this car in 1978 The car was Garage-Kept and a Sunday driver. "465 Wildcat" 425 cubic inch V-8 with Carter 4BBL & Auto tranny Wishbone frame (I think) and independent suspension (similar to a Corvette) Former owner is deceased, so not much history is available. Title in 1978 had mileage at approx 75K with 119K on the odometer currently. This is a beautiful project car ready for restoration. "Luxury Sports Sedan" with a muscle car drive terrain. Factory bucket seats and center console/shift lever Factory air and electric windows - 1964 luxuries! As-Is and Where-Is The car does not run; it would be a mistake to try to start it without a fair amount of prepping. (Don't ask to wrench on it BTW) It appears to be complete. The interior is dried out and in need of replacing. Very little rust; more pictures to come. (Minor quarter panel holes behind the rear wheels.) Clear Title in Hand $500 deposit (non-refundable) due with the agreed online transaction. Balance due via wire transfer or cash-in-person at delivery Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer Message me to arrange an inspection.

1983 Buick Riviera 2 Door Coupe This is a classic! It runs great and looks great. The interior and exterior have no defects. It has low miles and has been well cared for. Engine runs great, good brakes, good tires. Needs nothing! Has a clean Ohio title, but title states odometer discrepancy, but have no idea what that means as odometer and speedometer are working and have since we have owned this car and it looks and drives as it only has 49,400 miles! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank you for bidding!

Up for sale is my 1968 Buick Riviera GS.I have owned this car nearly 30 years. I purchased it in Jan 1986 from a friend's family who ordered it after returning home from the service. It was delivered in May of 1968 to Jim Kelley Buick in Fort Wayne, IN.When I bought the car, it had 69,600 original miles and now has 85,200. That is part of the reason for selling, I don't drive it much and have other projects that I'd like to do.In Jan 2007 my son and I started a restoration project on the car that we had no idea the direction it was going to go. It started as a quick engine refresh and paint job, but turned out as a complete frame off nut and bolt restoration after finding rotted frame bushings. The frame was taken out and we decided it should be sand blasted and powder coated in black. Naturally, the rest of the chassis could not be put back together until everything was completely powder coated. After 3 1/2 years we found ourselves with a concourse museum quality Riviera that has been to many shows including the 2012 BCA Nationals in Charlotte, NC where it took the Senior Gold award after entering the concourse class. It was judged in the concourse class again at the 2014 BPG Natl's in Columbus,OH where it scored a 398 of 400 and won another Gold Class award.Earlier in 2014 it was shown at the Autorama Piston Powered show at the huge indoor IX Arena in Cleveland, OH and received a 2nd place in Best Restored 68-72 class.Needless to say, this car is virtually perfect in every way and has been declared "The nicest 68 Riviera on the planet" by other Buick fanatics within the Buick community. It is an actual 68 Riviera GS w 85,200 original miles. The original paint color ( S2 Olive Gold Metallic ) was retained and was only available in '68 and exclusive to the Rivieras. The black vinyl top was also kept and compliments the dark green paint nicely. It is a very low option car and believed to be the only one built in this combination. It has no air conditioning, no power windows or locks. No cruise control. cornering lights or rear defrost. It is a true GS though and was built to go fast with its 430 engine, TH 400 transmission and a factory 12 bolt 3:42 posi- traction rear end. This car flys! The GS option also included a stiffer suspension package, bucket seats and console, a chrome air cleaner lid and GS badges. The other few options it does have is a tilt steering wheel, AM-FM radio, exterior body moldings, chrome road wheels w radial whitewall tires, carpet saver mats, tinted windows, and power trunk release. See the reproduction window sticker that is shown in picture along with original owners manual, protect-o-plate and the build sheet. There was nothing that was left untouched on this car with the exception of the headliner. It was in such nice condition that special attention was made to keep it intact. This list is very long but I will attempt to describe a lot of the things done. Engine rebuilt with forged aluminum pistons, crankshaft balanced and a stage 1 cam was installed .Original Rochester 4bbl carburetor rebuilt and works flawlessly. Transmission was rebuilt. Rear end was disassembled, housing powder coated, new bearings and seals reinstalled. Complete brake system is brand new including all stainless steel brake lines front and back .Radiator was rebuilt and is a factory 4 core. Heater core rebuilt and heater door's foam seals replaced. Fuel tank blasted inside and out and coated by Renewz-it. All fuel lines replaced with stainless steel. Clock rebuilt with quartz movement.Seats front and back recovered. New carpet. Front and rear speakers re-coned. New Delco Energizer factory appearing battery along with factory correct battery cables. Original T3 hideaway headlights that are vacuum operated and work perfectly thanks to new vacuum canisters and new vacuum lines run throughout. All chrome re-plated including ash trays, exterior mirror, bumpers, front end trim, and tail light bezels. As you can tell from reading, special attention was paid to the smallest details such as the factory correct belts and hoses. Every nut and bolt on car was either plated or painted. I have all receipts and hundreds of pictures from the restoration. Yes, this restoration was probably taken too far but this car is better than new in every way and can only be truly appreciated by few. Only serious inquiries accepted.More pictures available on request and I will also take video if requested. I live in northeast Indiana. Buyer responsible for pick up, transportation and any costs incurred.

Kept in top shape and driven fewer than 2,000 miles a year, it wasn't until 2000 that the car went to its next owner, a collector in Warsaw, Kentucky, with 70,024 miles on the odometer. Another careful keeper, the car accumulated fewer than 3,500 miles over the next 7 years. Passing through the hands of 2 more collectors who have used it sparingly, the car still shows well today and is an amazing original timepiece having only been driven 74,917 miles in the last half a century. The factory Arctic White finish, which was repainted some time ago, is complimented by an uplevel "Custom" Saddle interior with leather seat trim and genuine wood accents. The Riviera is equipped with factory air conditioning, power steering, windows, seats, and truck release, and an AM/FM radio—a new option in 1963. Underhood, the engine compartment showcases the powerful Buick Wildcat V8 which is mated to an optional automatic transmission. The car's factory owner's manual and all tools delivered new with the car —are included. This is a spectacular fully equipped first-year Riviera, a nice survivor that may be enjoyed as is. Combining a rare and attractive color combination with originality that is unlikely to be surpassed, here is a Riviera that will always stand out. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! In the late 1950s, GM lacked a personal luxury car to compete with the highly successful Ford Thunderbird—a uniquely styled, two-door, four-passenger car. To fill this gap, an experimental Cadillac design (the XP-715) was created. Its angular styling was reportedly inspired by GM styling chief Bill Mitchell's visit to London during the period, when he was struck by the sight of an elegant, custom-bodied Rolls Royce. He later said that "knife-edged" styling was what he wanted for the new model, but with a lower profile. The design itself was penned by stylist Ned Nickles. However, Cadillac management was not particularly interested in such a vehicle and in 1960 the project was thrown open for competition by the other divisions. Buick, desperate to revive its flagging sales, enlisted the aid of the McCann-Erickson advertising agency to create its presentation. Buick won, and the finished design was adapted to a shortened version of Buick's cruciform frame. The design was substantially the same as the original, although the hidden headlights—originally concealed in the fender grilles—were initially omitted for cost reasons. The Riviera was introduced on October 4, 1962, as a 1963 model, with the 325 hp 401 cu in "Nailhead" V-8 as the only available engine, fitted with dual exhaust as standard equipment, and the turbine drive the only transmission, at a base price of $4,333; typical delivered prices with options ran upwards of $5,000. With the same power as the larger Buicks and less weight, the Riviera had sparkling all-around performance: Motor Trend found it capable of running 0–60 mph in 8 seconds or less, the standing quarter mile in about 16 seconds, and an observed top speed of 115 miles per hour. Inside, the Riviera featured a four-place cabin with front bucket seats separated by a center console with floor shifter and storage compartment that was built into the instrument panel, and bucket-style seats in the rear. Upholstery choices included all-vinyl, cloth and vinyl, or optional leather. A deluxe interior option included real walnut inserts on the doors and below the rear side windows. Popular extra-cost options included a tilt steering wheel, power windows, power driver's seat, air conditioning, a remote-controlled side view mirror, and white sidewall tires. Up for auction is a very nice American classic. An 85 Buick Riviera Luxury coupe. Starts runs and rides great. This is the loaded option, Power windows, seats and door locks, plus cruise and A/C. A/C holds a charge so it don't leak but does not blow cold so it will need converted and charged. Windows and both seats work. Door locks works sometimes. Interior is beautiful besides 3 straight cracks on the top of the dash. Battery is newer and holds a good charge, Tires only have about 2,000 miles on them. Brakes are newer. Exhaust is quiet. All lights turn signals and horn work. Radio works, but shorts out once in a while. Rides down the road straight and doesn't pull to either side while breaking. The vinyl top has come loose in the middle on top from the chrome strip and has various stress cracks from the sun. I've tried to give you all the info needed, but just ask if ive missed something. Yes, I drive it a few times a week so the mileage may be higher. It definitely is road worthy to drive across the states to where ever you may need to take it. This is a no reserve auction, im setting the starting price at the least I'm willing to part with it because for some reason I cannot figure how to set a reserve on it. So happy bidding. I require a $200 non refundable deposit through paypal, and the remainder in cash at time of pick up. I WILL NOT SHIP!!!. And the car must be picked up by the following weekend of the end of the auction. Ive put plenty of pics to give you an idea about the shape of this car, And check the Auto score, off the chart, 1 owner , , no accidents. I don't have to sell this car, it will sell itself. And if you know anything about these cars, they are almost allways missing the plastic body parts, Mine are all here, look at the pics. Enjoy the auction folks. ATTENTION there is no title for this car. I had one and never titled the car, and have since lost it. And I can not get the original owner to spend the time to send off for a lost title, I have his name and address, maybe you can have better luck. A very nice car for very cheap compared to if I had the title. The starting bid is the reserve. You will get a bill of sale for this car. For any car dealers watching (which is who this auction was really meant for) If you are willing to pay the gas fees and a bus ticket back home for me, I will deliver the car. Thank you. This is the 3rd time listing, thanks to 2 bidders never contacting me after winning the car. GROW UP BUMS.

I'm the second owner of this 1984 Buick Riviera. The car is all original with only the quarter vinyl top has been replaced. The car's cloth interior is spotless and smoke free. The dash is crack free. The paint is not show quality, it has is some minor paint chips, the trunk and hood has some sun damage. I have the previous owners records as well as a copy of the title. The car drives and runs well. The 1984 Riviera just has the classic look that makes the car appealing. If you wish to purchase this car, a $250 deposit to paypal is required and pick up should be scheduled within two weeks of the deposit. NO TRADE OFFERS.
