This is a chance to own a real and SUPER RARE 1969 Buick Rivera GS that is in great shape. Car is originally bought in Califorina through Reynolds of West Covina. It is rumored to be one of only a handful of Stage 1 Riveras converted at the dealership. This is a rust free Southern California car. All the panel line up perfectly. Everything shuts and closes like a low mileage car should. It has the GS positraction and suspension bars that all GS came with. The car is completely 100% original , motor, intake, carb, etc. I spent two year collecting all the pieces to put this car back together. Everything you see in the pics that needs replaced I have all the parts seat covers and backs and headrests in black. Carpet, seat belts, etc. Has way too much to list. This one has the kind of features and rarity that will make it a survivor hit at any car show. After all, these were almost like owning a custom car backed by a factory warranty. Few people were willing to pay nearly double the Riviera coupe price that it took to pluck a car off the assembly line and let the professionals at ASC do their droptop magic. That's why this special Buick has been cared for so well and the sheetmetal has stayed laser straight. You can see this in the trim running down the sides and the pinstripe that perfectly highlights the gentle curves of the 6th generation Riviera. Even the details are still right. The chrome is bright and shiny, the rubber bumper fillers are in excellent condition, and all the emblems and lenses are beautifully clear. It even still wears its more aggressive T-type hubcaps reserved for these rare turbo models. These were top of the line Buicks that reached into Cadillac territory, and so burgundy leather came standard inside. The full package still looks amazing, which tells you this was not left with its top off too long on sunny days (and the white top even looks brand new.) The handsome bucket seats strike a nice balance between armchair comfortable and individual support. The burled walnut veneer is some of the most handsome trim for any car in the 80s, and as expected with such an expensive convertible, it came loaded. This includes power windows, power convertible top, power locks, cruise control, and climate control so you can stay cool even with the roof down on a summer day. But there's something else you might have noticed. This one has a full set of auxiliary gauges, including a boost gauge...and that's for a very good reason. Under the hood is the same turbocharged and fuel injected 3.8-liter V6 that was made famous in the Buick Regal T-Type. This motor gave the Riviera one of the most admired 0 to 60 times in the luxury class and made it a bit of a secret rocket ship. Still, this Buick does not betray its luxury nature with its grand touring suspension and four-speed overdrive automatic transmission. This is the kind of classic that you're not intimidated to take on the long trips thanks to power steering, front disc brakes, and even ABS. Owing this Riviera turbo convertible means instantly joining a very exclusive club. It gets even better with fact that this is a true survivor right down to the owner's manual. 1966 Buick Riviera great parts car or restoration project.. The car has a 425 nail head engine, 4 barrel carb., automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power mirrors, interior is complete.. The car is intact in original condition all a/c lines and hoses and radiator and condenser are there.. The car has flip up headlights all mechanisms are there.. The body is solid and has some surface rust and on lower rear quarters has some rot.. The doors are solid and fenders have small amount of rot on the bottom front.. Very reparable.. LOW RESERVE!!!!! ALL PICS TAKEN THIS SPRING. Your are looking at a very clean and original 1967 Buick Riviera. I was told that it was a 2 owner car before I purchased the vehicle from an estate sale. I was told that the car was repainted approx. 10-12 years ago and kept in a garage. The paint does have some very small imperfections, however the luster is still very good as you can see in the photos. NO RUST!!!!!There is a couple of small dings on the back bumper as shown in the pics. The interior is in great shape and original to the car. The previous owner did add a casset player under the dash, but the car retains its original radio. There are no cracks in the dash pad and the seats are in excellent condition and original. The carpet is in good condition. I replaced the carpeting on the doors recently because of fading. I was told when the car was repainted the owner added the chrome valve covers and the alarm system to the car. Otherwise the engine compartment is very original and clean for this age of car. From my understanding the previous owner became ill and car was not driven much in the last 6-7 years. When I purchased the car I had these items taken care of: 1. Rebuilt Timing cover set and gears 2. water pump 3. New valve cover gaskets 4. New timing cover 5. New spark plugs and wires 6. Rebuilt carb 7. Power windows motors drivers / pass side rebuilt 8. Headlight motor rebuilt 9. Door carpet driver / pass replaced. 10. Tires rotated and balanced. 11. New front drums installed. This car is in very good original condition. As seen in the pics the gaps of the body panels are very straight and the doors line up perfectly when shut. When the mechanic did the service work he mentioned this car is very straight and rust free underneath. See Pics!!! The 1967 Riviera has a real cool rolling speedo and hideaway head lights. All gauges work except the clock. The trunk compartment has the original felt / jack and spare wheel. The only item I am aware of not working is the power antenna. You can hear the motor run, but the antenna does not go up or down. This car is a great value for late 60's big block( 430 motor 360hp) vehicle. The is a real eye catcher and I get compliments all the time when I'm driving the car and at local car shows. It is not a Camaro, Mustang, or Chevelle, however its nice to know that you have a unique car there and you spent half of what they spent. The buyer is required to make a $500 non refundable deposite 48 hrs from the auction ending. There is no warranty expressed or implied. The vehicle is being sold " AS IS". The buyer is responsible for all shipping cost, tags, and tax. I reserve the right to end auction early or sell the vehicle through other venues.
