-No solicitors or scams of any kind, I've heard them all. If you are a shipping company, do not call me to "introduce" yourself and your services-Serious buyers only with cash, wire transfer, or cashier's check ready to go-Shipping is buyer's responsibility-The car is up for sale locally so feel free to give me a call and we can make a deal 608-520-1707. My name is Brad-I won't be accepting or entertaining low or insulting offers Thank you very much for your patience up to this point. Up for consideration is my very original and beautiful 1973 Buick Riviera. 1973 marked the last year for the iconic boat tail design for the 1971, 1972, and 1973 Rivieras. The 1973 model year was also the most luxurious rendition, with a plusher ride and very beautifully upholstered interiors. This car was built in Flint Michigan and was a one owner car in Green Bay WI for most of its life. I am the second owner. This Riviera is triple burgundy with its original and gorgeous Oxblood burgundy interior. It has done 96,250 miles as of this writing and looks just about brand new inside and out. The body is straight and rust-free and the paint still shines beautifully. The interior can’t really be any better than it is. It is all original and just beautiful, showing virtually no wear anywhere. The vinyl has a deep shine to it and even the original shag carpet is clean and wear-free. It has all four original Buick logo floor mats as well. The drivetrain is all original, never rebuilt, and is mechanically sound. It has the original 455 V8 with the original Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor. Since I've owned the car, I've installed various new parts to ensure the vehicle is reliable and roadworthy. I love driving classics and any car I own just gets better the longer I own it. It features:-New distributor with Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition, no more breaker points to adjust ever again-Brand new fuel tank, fuel sending unit, and fuel pump-Four new white wall tires-Complete new dual exhaust system from the manifolds back, all professionally installed at Exhaust Pros right here in Madison WIThis car has been looked over and serviced and is turn-key ready. I would trust it to drive anywhere. The suspension is all original, even original shocks, so the car rides like a 1973 Buick. And that means a healthy and enjoyable combination of luxury and muscle car. The car tracks straight and true, no vibration or drama at any speed. It's smooth, powerful, and very quiet on the highway. The brakes are spot on and require no service. No pulling or undesirable shakes or shimmies. This car has power windows and power driver seat that all work great. All the exterior and interior lights work perfectly. The windshield wipers and horn work great. The heater works very nicely. The car has cruise control and AC, but at this time they do not function although all the original AC equipment is in place. All dash gauges work perfectly. I am a private seller and the car is located in Madison WI. I am looking to sell this classic to somebody who will truly appreciate it for what it is. Please feel very free to contact me via email or phone with any questions. My number is 608-520-1707 and my name is Brad. Test drives and personal inspections are always welcome.

This beautiful and highly original 1964 Riviera is a bone dry, completely rust-free original panel car that is an exceptional example of the breed. Finished in its stunning original color combination of Marlin Blue over blue interior it also retains its numbers matching original and fully rebuilt 425 cubic inch "465 Wildcat" engine backed by its original (and new-for-1964) Super Turbine 400 transmission. Options include factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel and even the "Speed Minder" speedometer.  I’ve owned this car for a number of years and purchased it while it was still in its original, yet faded, original paint. The car was recently stripped to bare metal (with all panels removed) and given a concours level base/clear repaint with close attention paid to making sure the fit, finish and even the Marlin Blue color were all as-new or better. The bumpers were redone with “show chrome” and all of the exterior stainless was polished. Photos simply do not do it justice. The best part about the car, however, is its chassis and underbody. It is completely and utterly rust-free with all original factory primer and blue paint visible- no “cover up” undercoating or black slop, patch panels, new floors, or anything like that- all virgin original metal. I’ve included some photos, but again, it really doesn’t do it justice. I spent a few days under there cleaning it with Simple Green and then preserving it with some Boeing “Boeshield” protectant to preserve the great original finishes. Also note the photo of the topside of the trunk floor- the body of this car is simply amazing. Unlike most first-gen Rivieras this one has never been rusted, and those who know these cars realize the rarity of this.  The interior is exceptional and has new seat foam and seat covers, a new correct headliner, recovered sun visors, and mint original door panels. The dash top pad has cracks in it and I installed a Coverlay dash topper. It looks very nice but obviously a concours judge or Riviera expert would spot it. All of the gauges and lights work as-new and the only item that doesn’t function perfectly is the original AM radio. It turns on and makes some noise through the speaker but no music. The dash aluminum is all great with the exception of one wrinkled corner on the glovebox door. All of the interior chrome is excellent. The trunk has a new correct trunk mat and spare tire cover from Clark’s along with the original jack, tools, and spare.  Mechanically the car is rock solid and has been completely serviced/ restored. As mentioned the original engine has been rebuilt and is very strong. The original transmission shifts perfectly and is smooth and quiet. The original carburetor has been professionally rebuilt as has the alternator- the later still retains its original ink stamps even. All of the brakes are completely rebuilt with new wheel cylinders, new master, new hoses and new shoes. The exhaust has new resonators, muffler and new tail pipes installed on the cars original head pipes. It has four brand new radial tires and wheel alignment. The radiator has been re-cored, the heater core replaced, all new hoses, all new belts, new battery, and all other “service” items and fluids are fresh. Oh, the gas tank was boiled out and all rubber components in the fuel system are new Ethanol-rated ones as well. The factory air conditioning is all there but I have never attempted to charge it, if it is that hot out I drive a modern car. The Speed-Minder works as do all exterior lamps, signals, etc. It runs, drives, and performs just as a proper Riviera should.  I think you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer 1964 Riviera. The integrity of this car along with the quality and extent of the recent restoration work done during my ownership set it apart, and I know these cars very well. These are magnificent, breathtaking, certified Milestone collector cars and one of Bill Mitchell's best designs of all time. If you’ve been looking for a special one, in great colors, and not just another “lipstick on a pig” example this I encourage you to come take a look at this one. Unlike most eBay sellers I won’t hide behind a user name, pseudonym, burner cell phone number, shadow email account or other trickery trying to hide my identity. My name is Colin Comer and I am a collector as well as the author of numerous books on collector cars. I am also Editor at Large for American Car Collector, Sports Car Market, and the collector car editor for Road and Track magazine among others. My collection ranges from pre-war Full Classics through Indy cars and this wonderful Riviera was carefully chosen (and brought up to my standards) for it, but some recent additions are forcing me to make some room. I am happy to answer questions from serious buyers, provide additional photos and discuss the car at length. It is also available for any type of inspection you desire in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with an appointment any time during this listing. I have a well-lit shop with a hoist available. Please note I am not looking for any trades. I reserve the right to pull the Riviera from the market at any time or to sell it elsewhere without notice. I'm sure there is lots of other mumbo-jumbo I could put here but I'll skip the scary boilerplate BS stuff because it is hopefully not needed here. The Riviera will be sold to the new owner via my Wisconsin dealer’s license that I maintain so you will be assured of receiving good title and all of the proper paperwork to register (or export) it. Thank you for your interest. -Colin Comer

Time to sell my baby to do some stuff to my new house. Flat black paint with super shiny silver roof with 3 different size metal flakes. Car was rust free when I got it with the exception for some minor surface stuff. The underside is completely under coated. The bumpers & trim were grinded down then clear coated to preserve the patterns and keep it from rusting. The air ride setup is NOT some cheap kit you see online. The compressors are Viair and the bags are Dominators. We used 1/2 lines throughout the systems and all brass fittings. (Not the cheap push-in fittings you get in the online kits) Has 3 switches: front, back & entire car. The engine was completely rebuild to stock specs from a local reputable machine shop (I have the $2600 receipt just for the machine work) Also everything on the motor is new, including water pump, alternator, HEI distributor, Optima battery, starter, Edelbrock 650 cfm carb...you get the idea.. Brand new Flomaster dual exhaust. I took the gauge cluster out while the motor was being done and took it to a place called Tacoma Speedometer to have it all gone through & rebuilt. I also had them reset the odometer to zero so I would know how many miles are on the engine. So as you can see in one of the pictures this engine only has 415 miles since it was done. The entire interior has all been redone. New headliner, carpet, seats, door panels, side panels & package tray. The dash was wrapped & sewed with material and it looks real good. The guy did an amazing job on the dash. When he first told me what he was going to do I was hesitant but it turned out super good. The rear windows stopped working at the same time the passenger window stopped being able to be operated from the drivers side switch (still works from passenger side) so I'm pretty sure it's the main switch on the drivers door because the power is fed to the other windows from that switch. They are fairly easy to find online. The electric trunk pop works, so does the fuel gauge, speedometer & all the lights. Kenwood CD player with USB/Aux Plug ins Also has Bluetooth with the mic mounted in the pillar. I mounted 2 little speaker inside the dash where the factory one was for now so it could definitely use some more speakers if you are into loud music. (which is what my plans were) The wheels are 20" Ridler with 245/35ZR20 Nexen tires that are still like brand new, no curbs whatsoever...only 415 miles on them as well. Has air horns installed with the button mounted on the bottom side of the dash near the drivers left knee. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but this pretty much sums it up. I'd be happy to answer questions you have though. This has been a project for me over the last 4 years and when I finally got it done I'm forced to sell it :( Overall this car surprisingly drives really well. You would think that a car this big, old & heavy with air ride suspension and 20 wheels would be all over the road but it's not. The paint is Sherwin Williams single stage and has 2 little runs that are hardly noticable (adds character). I was going to be happy with the primer/patina look with the shiny roof but last minute we decided to slap some paint on it. So it was kind of an after thought. I wasn't trying to build a show car, I was trying to build a cool car that you don't see a million other ones on the road. The car can be viewed and driven in Tacoma, WA. I have clean & clear title in my name in hand. I can be reached at 2 5 3 - 4 6 8 - 4 6 7 6 to answer any questions you may have.

Check out the buy it now price! You are bidding on a 1963 Buick Riviera with a custom paintjob. I priced it reasonably low if you compare it to the other cars around here, you'll pay about the same for a stock car that needs paint and interior work! Let alone have a reliable rebuilt drivetrain. My desire for a different project is your gain! I'm looking for an old school GM split window pickup truck. I cleaned the car quickly to look somewhat presentable. It needs a final buff and thorough cleaning of wax residue from the first cut n buff. It's been sitting in my garage for about 2-3 months as I installed some parts that were removed during paint. *The factory original 401 Nailhead was rebuilt with a mild cam. There is probably two (2-5) miles on the rebuilt drivetrain! *The original Dynaflow 2 speed transmission was rebuilt at the same time. *The floors and trunk were replaced. *The door handles, emblems and body trim were eliminated. *The hood was louvered and looks awesome with the flame tips leading your eyes to them. *New exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers. *New gas tank with new lines. A new white headliner and the all new white vinyl seat interior (everything was ordered from OPGI). New door panels (front and back). I did save the original wood panels and trim incase the new owner wanted to reinstall them later. New white Mooneyes steering wheel. The center console was painted black to compliment the new black rug. I blacked out the entire dash leaving only the factory trim pieces in the original stainless look (the trim was not rechromed just buffed with a steel 000 wool pad). The front seatbelts were installed, but the rear lap belts were not in stock. The car sits 3 inches lower with the fresh Jamco lowering kit, which consists of shorter coils and shocks all around. The brand new blacked out 15 inch American Racing rims and new thin whitewall tires (2-5 miles on them) compliment the car nicely. Simple, clean and they don't grab any attention away from the extensive custom paintjob. If you are serious I can send you an I-phone video of the car running, just text/call me at (203)521-7858. Connecticut is a NO TITLE state for classics. I did not register the vehicle, I will sell it with a Bill of Sale that will contain all my pertinent information. Bad points at this time: -No weatherstripping installed or included. Rubber gasket on the front small vent windows is brittle. -Needs front end alignment with the new wheels and tires. During braking the car shifts a little to the left. -The trunk is bare, no spare and or anything else in there. I do have several original parts that I will throw in like the door wood panel with the molding for the front and rear, the original brown steering wheel, and some trim gaskets. I will also include the "original" drip rails with an all new felt kit (still in the box). -Some lights might not function at this time because either I have not updated the bulbs and or not connected them. The factory harnesses and fuse boxes are in place (no bird's nests). -The front grille and or bumpers were not rechromed. I will include the front headlight grilles, trim and lights too! -Wipers arms are not installed. The wiper motor does run when you turn the wiper knob on the dash! I'm being honest by pointing out all the minor necessary details I can, obviously if you think it's too much work please do not bid and or complain later. I want to move onto another project. I encourage everyone to inspect the vehicle in person, so nothing I described above is misconstrued. The car is located in Trumbull, Connecticut (approx. an hour from NYC). If you have any further questions feel free to contact me on my personal cell phone (203)521-78 five eight. I work all different kinds of hours, so please leave a message and I will return your call as promptly as I can! The buyer, YOU, are responsible for shipping. I will make time for your scheduled transportation pickup. The car is sold as is, thanks for your time and interest.
