I already know it has at least one problem because the service light just came on yesterday. I have no idea what could be causing the light to come on but whatever it is I can't afford to repair it. This Buick ran great until a month ago. After putting in a new battery and then having a mechanic (a good hearted person) replace several parts it won't stay running (it will start then dies). Parts included intake gasket, spark plugs, fuel filter, transmission pan gasket, vacuum hose, crank sensor and coil pack with computer, possibly additional parts but can't recall them so I'm selling the car "as is". The buck had to stop there..The underneath is quite rusted in spite of it being (heated)garage kept for years and the speedometer doesn't work. The heat/air conditioning works and the car is only average on gas.The tires are in good shape and the rims are rare for that model. I kept up with maintenance on it and it's inspected until August 2016. If anyone has this model car and needs parts?? Refer to pictures..Thanks for looking!!

The 87 grand national was one the baddest machines made in the 80s. i personally know the history about this car from 1990 on it has been in a family of buick enthusiast. since 1996 it has been owned by a retired man who only took it out on nice days to cars shows. this car is in good shape it was repainted in 1990 by the dealership. the whole car was blasted down to bare metal and repainted . the turbo was replaced a few years ago . the trans was just rebuilt last year and had a shift kit installed . the interior is in great shape no rips in the seats , still have the factory floor mats , also comes with aftermarket center console pillow that acts like a armrest. this car is rust free everything works on it . the ac has been retrofitted to 134a . it does have a newer style cd player installed and few gauges in the console. the car just passed pa state inspection and emissions . brakes , tires , suspension are all in great condition.
