This car is NOT a Buick Century, it's a Buick Special. The ad set-up made me chose a model and Special wasn't an option. Sorry for any confusion. If you Google search the vin below you'll see an ad where it's advertised as a Riviera,Whoever placed that ad must have had the same problem. I took a screenshot and added a new picture to show the problem I had picking the right model. Special and Super are not on the list...but Skylark is...oh well.. Well cared for and gorgeous real 50's survivor. Not just prettied up for this auction. This Buick is fun to drive and bring to car shows. Draws lots of attention and questions. Strangers at red lights will start speaking to you. The engine and trunk compartments are detailed and painted. New battery and ignition points. Displays very well at car shows. Two-toned interior, day/night mirror, back-up lights. Standard steering and brakes. Traffic Light Viewer Airway Compass Windshield Washer (non-functional) This Buick has a very nice body and under-carriage. Upgraded radio with old school look and iPod input. Original radio is in the trunk. Coker WWW tires. The paint is still glossy and attractive even from a reasonable distance. Chrome and is also better than average, however, showing it's age in some areas more than others. The interior displays very well. The dash is very good and the windows all roll up and down as they should. Again, you can expect some flaws around the car, but it is a pretty one nonetheless! Please see all of the photos displayed! The Nailhead V8 idles very well, makes great power, and still has the functional gas pedal start. Wouldn't take much for this to be an award winner and you can drive it while restoring it or just drive it for the fun of it from day one. Will get you lots of attention, questions, and thumbs-up signs. I bought this to drive on weekends but reluctantly health problems are forcing me to sell it. Google search the VIN: 4B6023172 and you'll see that this car was sold 10/10/11 for $22,950...I bought it from the guy who paid $22,950. He was getting divorced and had to sell some of his toys. The pictures speak for themselves.Thank you for looking.

1 of only 2,037 made. Sharp car, drives great. The paint and body work on this car is 30 years old. Looks excellent from 5 feet away. Up close, some body filler bubble ups can be seen around rear wheel wells. There is some rust areas in the rear of both door jambs.(see picture) There is also a rust spot on the bottom of the passenger door. The interior is factory original. The dash pad has no cracks. Custom cloth red top with the glass rear window. It was installed last month ($1500) Factory soft boot and fiberglass parade boot in very good condition. Original steering wheel in trunk has 2 cracks in it, replaced with 3 post Centurion steering wheel. Engine is 350 2 barrel. The timing chain, water pump, and radiator were replaced 2 years ago. Engine and transmission drive excellent. 4 new Monroe Load Levelers shocks were installed 11/22/14. This is a great car to drive and have fun with. Power seats, locks, windows, factory AM/FM stereo radio still works. AC is original but needs to be converted to the new system. Turns heads when you're driving and strangers will start conversations with your about this car. If you want to use it as a show car you would need to have it restored. The chrome, bezels, emblems, and bumpers are in great shape. A great driver to have fun with. Clean Louisiana title in my name. New Inspection sticker, odometer says 59680, I assume it's 159680, can't be sure, no carfax available before 1981. These cars are carbureted and have chokes on them, takes a few mins to warm up when you first start it then runs fine. A 42 year old survivor that can be driven and enjoyed from the day you get it. Please come and inspect it or or have it inspected . (504) 273-9981 Steve...Thanks for looking.
