1969 BUICK SKYLARK This is a 1969 Buick Skylark Custom. It is in very good condition. The car has had a lot of work done on it. It starts and drives well, needing nothing to be a daily driver. It needs a paint job and some detailing to finish it off. The wheels have rust on them, but look good from a distance. The body is very straight with only a slight ripple on the passenger side rear panel and a little bit of rust at the rear passenger wheel well. The rear drivers quarter panel, and the trunk floor have been replaced . The door, hood, and trunk gaps are very good. The windshield has a small crack from a flying stone. It has a 1969 GS400 hood and air cleaner installed. The black vinyl top is in good condition with no rips or tears. The interior is in good condition with average wear on the panels and carpet. The drivers seat has a rip in the bottom. This car has power windows, power door locks, rear window defogger, vacuum operated trunk release,and a tilt wheel out of a '72 El Camino. Mechanically the car is in very good shape with a lot of modifications done. It has 4 wheel power disc brakes, Corvette front and Cadillac rear. The rear control arms have been boxed with big sway bars front and rear. Energy suspension bushings, new ball joints, new springs bearings jeep steering box. The rear end is a 8.5 out of a '71 Skylark with press in axles. The engine is a Buick 350 with a Poston cam and intake, ta performance rod bolts, roller timing chain, 9 to 1 compression, arp studs, quadrajet carb, 2.5 inch exhaust. The transmission is a turbo 400 with switch pitch, two converters included. If you don't know what switch pitch is google it under Buick switch pitch or variable pitch 400. It also has electric cooling fans which make for a neat engine bay. If you are looking for a car like this, this is it. Most of the work has been done. $6000 or BEST OFFER. Thanks for looking! What we have here is an excellent condition considering its age... Its been garage kept and only driven sparingly. The back seat looks like it has never been sat in... The paint is about 50% original, the RH side has been spotted a long time ago.. I can see no major damage at all anywhere It runs great and starts right up.. This car can be driven daily if that was what you wanted.. Its real hard to find the unmolested cars anymore, and this is one of those rare cars. because of the original condition.. The interior is fine...Outside paint could use a polish and there is a little damage on the RH quarter, ..Its an easy repair but its hard to notice really. This is the car to buy if you wanted a Buick like Dad used to have....It just came from his garage.... We need to sell it so don't be afraid to make an offer. all I can do is say no.. and who knows what it will go for...
