This 1953 Buick Roadmaster is for sale in our Louisville Kentucky showroom. The Roadmaster received its first major postwar restyling in 1949. Its wheelbase and overall length were reduced but its weight was actually marginally increased. The biggest change was a much larger two-piece, curved glass windshield that the sales brochure described as like an %26acirc;??observation car.%26acirc;? It was also in 1949 that Buick introduced \"VentiPorts.\" Four were displayed on each of the Roadmaster\'s front fenders, with three on the fenders of all other Buicks. 1953 was a big year for Buick with the introduction of their first V8 engine. That engine was the 322 CID V8 with 188 horsepower that powers this Buick. This was also the first year for the 12 volt electric system. This old Roadmaster is what we like to refer to as a survivor car. It appears to have never been restored, but well maintained over the years. This car can be enjoyed for years to come in its %26acirc;??as is%26acirc;? state, or it%26acirc;??s ready for that special makeover. The new buyer gets to decide! To view this 1953 Buick Roadmaster, including an HD video, go to our website www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call at 812-294-1555 for more information. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a 1974 Buick Riviera. If you want a comfortable daily driver with that cool classic look, then keep reading! 1974 was the first year for the fourth-generation Riviera, which included changes such as a pillared coupe roofline that replaced the more classic %26acirc;??boat tail%26acirc;?? design. This particular car features the landau vinyl roof to give it a more upscale and classy look. This is a two-owner car originally from South Carolina that has been meticulously maintained by the current owner over the years. The car is all-original, including the paint, and the car retains its numbers-matching 455 V8 under the hood, which was rebuilt 1,000 miles ago. Other accessories on the engine include stainless steel headers and chrome valve covers. Underneath, the car received fresh shocks and brakes in 2009, so with the strong-running engine, the car rides comfortably and reliably. Options on this Buick include: AM/FM radio, cassette, hub caps, power steering, power seats, power windows, seat belts, vinyl interior, and radial tires. Located in our Detroit showroom, this 1974 Buick can be seen in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information.
