Up for sale is my beautiful 2006 BMW Z4 3.0i 6-speed Roadster. This car is a rare find with the Silbergrau(SilverGray) exterior with the interior being red-on-black-on-silver aluminum trim with Sport Mode in the 6-speed manual. When the Z4s got a facelift in 2006 to better headlights and tail lights, among several other upgrades, the cars were fitted with the N52 engine from the 530i/330i which in and of itself is a fantastic motor. This paired with the 6-speed manual in a car that barely weighs in at 3,000 lbs makes for a very very fun machine. Some facts about this car:- Owned and meticulously maintained by a BMW enthusiast- Spent 90% of its time cruising on a long country back road with maybe one stop, two traffic lights and the cruise control set at 53 mph.- Convertible top programmed so that you can also open and close it via the key remote.- No leaks/seeps/spots anywhere under the car.- At their limits, A/C is nitrogen cold, heater could probably burn you.- Heated seats get very hot very quickly if desired. (This combined with the insanely hot heat output means driving with the top down in cooler weather is still comfortable.)- 26.7 mpg on averageMaintenance:- Oil changed every 3,000 miles firm. Full Synthetic used every time, only BMW filters.- Got an alignment two months ago as annually scheduled.- Battery replaced last May.- Recent flushes include: Coolant, Brake Fluid, Rear Differential(car uses electric power steering so no fluid there).- Brakes have more than 60% life all around and will last a very long time on such a light car.Nothing's perfect in life and here's what isn't on this car:- 2 weeks ago one of the $40-angel eyes went out. Needs a bulb that I haven't got around to putting in yet.- This Spring it'll need a new set of tires(17's so not too expensive). Currently sits on Nexens.- Driver rear wheel has a small scratch on one of the spokes I noticed when I originally bought the car.- Somewhere where the driver front fender meets the hood there's a slight deviation at the right angle and in the right light in the paint meaning there's a ding. Also, the P/O put a license plate bracket on the front bumper by drilling holes in it. I respectfully disagree- there is currently no front plate on the car.- Steering wheel thumb spokes show cosmetic wear.- There's a speck of dirt next to the fog light button on the aluminum trim. You can't notice it unless you're looking for it but the fact that it's there and refuses to come off with a toothbrush makes me angry.Said and done, the condition of this car for it's mileage is simply as good as it gets. Between it's rare color/trim combination, how it was owned, maintained and driven, warmed up before load, easy-shifted, perfectly rev-matched when down shifting and kept away from city driving means you're probably not going to find another one quite like this.Seriously serious inquiries only. Low ballers, tire kickers, whiners- don't bother. Test drives are only happening if I think you're legitimately interested in buying the car and if you're not well-experienced in driving a stick, save the phone call. I'd prefer to sell this car to another BMW enthusiast who will love it and take care of it like I did- this is not, by any means, the first BMW I've owned. Selling because I'm looking into another BMW. Thanks for looking and enjoy your day!!
