I would prefer to keep it and redo it one more time but the need for another vehicle leaves me no time to repair this one economically. The car was in excellent condition prior to the accident. I have had zero issues with it the past 2 years. I have driven the car and it starts and runs well. the 5 gears and reverse work fine. The Air Bags did not deploy. No fluids are leaking from the car other than the windshield wash bottle. I can see that a hose to an ac canister has been sheared off but no other mechanical problems. The ABS, BRAKE, and Traction Lights have come on. Loss of traction or anything with brake or abs will trigger all three of these. Another thing that could trip these could be a wheel sensor. (Front Right). See the pictures and let me know if you need more and ask about any particular item damaged or not. I will do my best to answer. Most of the damage appears to be body parts (Hood, Bumper, Headlights). If you can examine the car first so much the better. I feel confident that the car would bring double my price in parts but I just don't have the time to do the work. Very well cared for 1998 BMW Z3 2.8L in baby blue with tan top and upgraded chrome wheel package. Approximately 97,000 miles, garage kept. This is the sporty 2.8L Roadster edition that drives like a true Sports car. Just purchased from previous owner in April 2014 and no longer have the garage space for it.Never been in a major accident but was backed into at parking lot once while parked that caused some minor damage which has been repaired by previous owner. Used good quality synthetic oil and new oil filters at every service. Fresh oil change on this Z3 as of 6-12-15. Still some driving and wear left in these tires. The top does leak some in heavy rains (car is usually garaged) However, I do want to point out it will need a new top at some point down the road. Car has clear New Indiana title and is currently located in Schererville, IN. I will work with your shipper to load the vehicle anywhere in Schererville. I would not be afraid to drive this car cross country, but keep in mind it is a 16 year old car. I have driven much older vehicles cross country with no problem at all and then had problems on trips with late model cars...there just are no guarantees when it comes to used automobiles. That is all we got from the previous owner, and I never had a replacement key issued. The interior clock says "PPP" and I have tried to reset it without success but maybe a BMW dealer can reset this. This is a gorgeous, great running Z3 that has been professionally detailed and is ready for it's new owner. I have owned it for the past 18 months and only put on about 500 miles on it. It drives great with no mechanical issues and could be a daily driver or just a weekend toy. It is always garaged, comes with a car cover and could be driven coast to coast with no concerns. The 2.5 engine has plenty of power and the 5 speed shifts flawlessly. It has no leaks and lots of tread on newer Falken tires. The convertible top is in great condition with no rips and raises and lowers without any issues. Why am I selling? I have purchased a Harley Road King to replace it with and have therefore reduced it for a quick sale. If you live nearby, I would love to let you test drive it and see how gorgeous it is in person. If you would like to have it shipped, I would be more than happy to work with your choice of transport company. While the car drives great, it has a few, minor cosmetic flaws. (1) The driver seat has scratches on the left padded section. It appears that they were caused by a cell phone holster rubbing against it as the driver got in and out. A local upholstery shop quoted replacing the panel for $150. I have not had it replaced as it isn't noticeable in getting in and out ... only when fastening the seat belt. I personally would not replace it, but have reduced the price accordingly. (2) The seat belt holder on the driver seat has been broken in half while owned by the previous owner. I pulled the seat forward to get a picture of it, but again, it isn't visible while getting in and out, and I have elected not to have it replaced as well. (3) The fan switch only blows as it should in the 'high' or '4' position. Other positions blow, but not with what I would consider normal force. The a/c works great, blows cold, and will freeze you out on a hot day, and again, I elected not to have it replaced as it worked fine 'as is.' (4) There is a small dent on the rear quarter panel which is barely noticeable except from a certain angle. Again, all of these flaws are cosmetic in nature and are barely noticeable, but as you can see from my ebay sales, I am particular about being up-front with the items that I sell. The paint is beautiful, appears to be original, and shines nicely. All in all, this is a superb running Z3 in very good condition, and its flaws can be left as is or improved to bring it up to an even higher level of condition. It is not in 'showroom condition' but will impress those who see it and is a 'head turner.' Please bid with confidence.
