I've done some work to it recently, brand new Battery, brand new alternator new radiator hoses, and new rear shocks. I service it my self and change the oil and filter every 2 months. Very dependable, excellent handling, great in the snow. We got a best of 24 mpg on a trip to Whitefish, MT a few years ago. Always serviced with BMW products, BMW fully synthetic oil, etc. My wife ordered this car new in 2004 with the Imola Red paint when it was an available custom color. Red only comes on the 4.4 or 4.8 stock. We've only seen one other Red X5 3.0 in Oregon.
