He was heart broken and did not want to keep the car so insurance totaled the car and he offered it to me. Since I had a dream to build that PERFECT E60 M5, I purchased it from him. As you can look at CARFAX and AUTOCHECK, car was a CPO car and ALWAYS maintained at the BMW dealer. I have all original pictures and a copy of the title that shows the car had engine and transmission missing.Once I purchased the car, I went to the local BMW experts to start my project. They located an engine and transmission from a donor car that had 49K miles.
