Greetings All,I'm about to sell my Dinan tuned 1998 M3/4/5. If you found this ad, you probably don't need to hear any more, and are probably disappointed that many of the M3 Sedans available are automatics. My background: I've had several M3s including E30, E36, & E90 versions.I've owned the car over 10 years, and it's been pretty much bullet proof, although there are some of the usual e36 issues--leaking PS line, leather wear, and a sunroof issue. Quite honestly, if the auction doesn't go high enough, I may not sell it, and of course it's for sale locally as well.The motor is very strong, AC cold, tint dark and legal. I never tracked it, the first owner was a real estate agent. - Hella Supertone Horns - Awesome, if you don't buy this car, you should buy these horns anyway.- ZKW (THE EXPENSIVE ONES! ;) ) Euro Ellipsoids + 4.2k HID Bulbs. (Not the blue garbage, and a strong cut off) + 3m Film on glass headlights- Conforti Carbon Intake- Larger MAF Filter- Dinan Software (used to have Dinan intake, but I liked the Conforti one better)- Dinan Exhaust- UUC Lightweight flywheel and M5 clutch. Done about 80k miles... clutch was fine, I just wanted to upgrade.- Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks- Toyo t1 Tires- Formula 1 Pinnacle Tint (They actually did the front windows in a sort of custom batch for me to be the lowest legal for florida), 15 rear & back.- Wired for Valentine 1- Wired for One touch front windows + one touch sunroof- Alpine + ADS Audio System (This may not come with the car, I'll have to decide later, its rare, top end, and worth a few $k)- Mobil 1 15w-50 for last 10 years.- BMW Rear Spoiler- Late Model M3 tricolor M Headrests- Hawk HPS Pads- Redline MTL- Redline Gear Oil in Diff- Folding Rear Seats Negatives: Paint - As the photos show, the car looks great. However, if you are buying this sight unseen, look at the photos closely as it is an almost 20 year old car and there are chips and scratches.There is some spidering of the paint on the front and rear bumpers. The M3 OEM spoilers I believe were dealer additions, and also show spidering. Interior leather - There is wear as you can see. Interior trim - I was in the long term process of converting the trim to black, and recovering some pieces. I'm missing A-Pillars, and a trim piece around the sunroof controls. Sunroof - The sunroof gets stuck when moving back. I haven't had the time to fix it, so it would be passed on to you. There are scratches on the lid where it is contacting something on the rail. Coolant sensor - The car from time to time complains that it needs coolant, but doesn't. I would replace it at the next coolant flush. Clutch chatter - As you may know, the lightweight flywheels cause some clutch chatter in the e36s at a low idle. Some software upgrades raise the idle to get rid of the sound... it never bothered me.
