I purchased the car in 2009 with intention to drive it on the local track events and autocrosses. Step by step I did modifications listed below. Everything was done in the shop. I’m more of the driver, not mechanic. My goal was to make it as reliable as possible, with fun driving in mind, not a competition. It runs the track awesome, handles like a dream! Over 400 pounds was removed from the car. It weights around 2700 pounds. The car has 123,xxx miles on chassis. New engine with only 62k miles was installed 4 years ago (money shift at Road America). The engine runs super strong. I had it dynoed and it showed 262 Hp with 274 of Torque. Also the car was in the minor accident on the track about 4 years ago (front left corner). No structural or suspension damage. Since then I was running it a few times a year. I also have E92 M3 and I don’t have time to drive both cars.
