1998 BMW E36 M3. I purchased this vehicle a few years ago. When it arrived from a florida dealership, it needed some work. So i replaced the springs, changed brakes, changed valve cover gasket, replaced starter, battery, hood cable. Then i started driving it to and from work for a few months. Let a family member borrow it one night and the vehicle was driven into a puddle of water and the engine water locked. Next i ordered a new engine and had a BMW specialist shop in Raleigh put it in. Drove it home and deciding to sell it. few reasons; one being the hassle I've been through right now and the money its cost me. two, me and my wife are deciding to move out west and just trying to downsize. and three, I really wanted to make this car a track vehicle. that was main reason I bought it. I use to own an m3/4dr/e36 and they are amazing. all I've actually ever owned has been BMW. Im in an E90 3 series currently. amazing cars!! hands down the ultimate driving machine. The E36 M3 4door is such a special car. they don't make anything like it. If your reading this I'm sure you already know about m3s. there is a dent in the driver door. while it wasn't running apparently someone tried to break in and kicked the door:( but it isn't creased. so it can be easily popped out. the paint on the trunk is fading. you can either re paint it, or wrap it in carbon fiber. One of the headlights is cracked, and the front bumper trim is missing. Brand new battery starts right up and nice steady idle. The guy from the shop told me that the drive shaft bearing will need replacing in like a year or two. Starts up everyday with a brand new battery! ready to go. its a great deal for a rare car.so much potential!
