Up for sale is my 1971 BMW 2002 in Agave green. This classic round tail sedan is an excellent restoration base. A California car since new, it is free of structural rust. There is notable rot on the trunk lid along the rear molding, some small holes in the spare wheel well, and some holes in the front valence. Some bubbling has developed behind the rear wheel openings, and a spot under the front windshield. I started to take down the bubble spots, and the rust has not penetrated or compromised the sheet metal yet. The rockers, shock towers and underside are exceptionally clean and dry. The right rear corner suffered a tap at some point, and has been hammered out but will need finishing work before paint. It has the desirable street performance modifications, including the 320is 5 spd, LSD and Recaros that are getting harder to find as 320is values climb. I have recently performed a service on the engine (oil & filter, valve adjustment, new carb filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor). I also put new webbing on the Recaro seats. It handles exceptionally well, and drives great. I drive it all around the Bay Area. The car is getting tired however, and could really use a restoration to soldier on. Most importantly of all, the car has extensive documentation from new to now. I have the original dealer order sheet (window sticker), sales invoice, original manuals with dealer service stamps and just about every single receipt for the car since new until now - massive stack. I have log books from 1970 to 1989 (first owner), detailing just about every gas fill up, oil change, and service done to the car. Dealer service invoices, independent garage invoices, part order receipts - this is a serious amount of documentation, above and beyond almost any 2002 I have come across. I am the fourth owner of the car, and a classic BMW enthusiast. The car did have CA blue plates on it, but they were lost when a previous owner put on personalized plates. The car has a clean title and is currently registered. Selling my 1989 BMW Alpina B11. Bmw collector owned. I imported the car from Japan and I went through the trouble of registering it in the USA. It has a Montana Clear Title. This will most likely not be able to be registered in California. The exterior is in great condition and no signs of bodywork. The interior is also in great shape. It does have a decorative headliner sticker over the visors and sunroof headliner. It can be removed. The car is Euro Spec and is in Kilometers. The radio is Japanese spec which can be changed easily. Car is being sold AS IS. There are no warning lights or service lights on. Car runs great.

I have up for sale a nice 1991 BMW E30 325ic. It is a pretty original car, and is a rarer plastic bumper convertible with leather interior.Clean titlePasses smog in CA, new tags and ready for transfer202,4xx miles on a working odometerNo rust Good Points:- Alpine White II on Indigo Blue leather- Late model plastic bumpers- Matching VINs on all panels except the driver side fender, which is a BMW replacement DOT-R stamped fender.- Top recently replaced, in excellent shape and has been converted to a manual top.- Interior in very good condition for its age. No cracks or tears in the front seats. One puncture on the rear seat bench, and one tear in the stitching up top on the rear seats- Clean uncracked dash- All windows working - New cat and exhaust- Just performed engine tune up consisting of a new Continental timing belt and pulley, along with a coolant system flush, new water pump belt, spark plugs, oil change, valve cover breather hose, and intake boot.- Paint is good around the car, except for the trunk lid, which the previous owner has painted in white primer. Not very noticeable until you get close, or someone points it out. It also has an "is" spoiler installed, and a new "i" lip.Weak Points:- Automatic transmission. Some people like an automatic, and cruising with an auto does suite a convertible very well, but the transmission itself is starting to lose reverse. It will not reverse up an incline. Flat surface it will reverse fine, but the clutches will slip if it needs to push the car up an incline. A fairly common problem with these transmissions. Other than reverse, the transmission operates perfectly fine. I have a known perfectly good automatic transmission pulled from a running car that is included with the sale. - A/C not working. The compressor comes on, makes no strange noises, but the system has no freon in it. Might only need a charge, might need a leak fixed - not sure. I'm pricing the car VERY fairly in light of the transmission swap needed. I've recently seen late model convertibles in mint condition with asking prices between $11-14k. This era of BMW's are going up in value, and lower production late model convertibles are going to be some of the more valuable E30's to own. I'm a BMW enthusiast, have too many E30's, and I'm downsizing. This BMW is being sold AS-IS, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warrant of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
