Up for auction is a 2000 BMW 740i sport with cold a/c decent no rips or tears heated front and rear sports seats. Has navigation, glassmoon roof power windows locks and doors very good lights and so forth. I bought the BMW for my wife who wanted it after my bmw m5 was totalled as a more sensensible family car and then she decided it was to big and powerful for her wants or needs. When i orginally bought it for her about a year ago it needed chains and guides which I paid a master BMW tech to do. Chains and guides have about 250-350 miles on the service job currently. My wife has since bought a newer smaller car to drive as we don't need 3 cars in a small household. The BMW runs and drives currently and has very good cold a/c and many options for the year some mentioned above. However it does still need some attention or work to make it a daily driver as it has sat up for a year from non useage, as the headlights and taillights stay on constant, possible lkm or lamp control module or possible sensor, the navigation stopped working maybe fuse or other situation plug or damage to dvd box in trunk and transmission sometimes goes in limp mode, may need neutral safety switch or clear the default codes other times it drives with no issues, and supplement airpump for emission sometimes makes noise on start ups and goes away after about 2 minutes or me letting car idle not a driveability issues just annoying to hear, and may need incidentals here and there not mentioned like window regular or window motor items like that, not they need to but just letting one know just in case. The exterior is fair may need polishing or new paint job if car is fixed up with different doors or repaired one as it does has some rust on the bottom of the doors near the plastic trim, One can either repair or replace if fixing the car or make an excellent parts car for ones e38 740i. More or less selling as parts, it runs do what one likes fix it and drive it or part it out to fix one if one already has one with bad motor?The BMW is sold as is NO warranties this is a light driveable project car or an amazing driveable parts car, the hard work has been done with doing the chains and guides. I am being as honest and upfront as I can as many people expect a new car for use car prices and that is just not realistic or reality. I basically trying to get my money out for the money I paid to have chains and guides done for my wife and a little extra for the car itself. As on Craigslist I have seen 2000 740i with BAD motors being listed for $2500. You can use the vin number to check the build sheet from BMW, the 18 inch M parallel rims where stolen and replaced with e38 750i highline base rims as pictured. BMW must be sold!!
