BMW : 7-Series BMW E23 745i Nice Car, Rust Free, Needs a little TLC

Offering for sale is a 1981 BMW 745i (E23) European imported 7 series. This is the Europe only turbo charged 3.5L putting out 258hp. I purchased this originally as a parts car for a restoration project, but frankly it is WAY too nice for a parts car. It runs, drives, stops, even has COLD A/C! Frankly all it needs a little TLC. This is a non-sunroof, non-power window car. Now, why is that positive? Less electronic stuff to fix! Having owned other e23s, this is usually the only thing that goes wrong is the electronic stuff. This was originally imported to southern California and spent its entire life prior to my purchase either in California or Arizona. The car as an updated battery, cold a/c, starts up and will drive fine. Being a California car, it has no rust (exception is a couple small surface rust areas shown in the pictures). NOTHING rusted through, just very minor on the surface. Body panels are original and straight. All lights are there, not cracked up, though one of the taillights is a bit faded (blame it on AZ sun!). It appears to have lowered springs and does also have Bilsteins shocks installed. Suspension is firm. What TLC is needed? Paint. The clear coat is peeling on the roof, trunk, and hood, in addition to some paint. The headliner is falling down, leather is brittle and has a couple small tears. Dash pad has a number of cracks as well. Other than that and a good cleaning, the rest of the interior is in good shape, with the door panels and wood to be in better shape than the seats. Manual roll up windows mean you can always put them up and down when needed. Only other issue is the drivers side door wants to stay locked. Got it open and working fine, now it wants to stay locked. Lastly, the trunk locking/opening button is very touchy and mostly does not want to open. After I got this car and decided not to just pull off the parts I wanted, I was going to repair the TLC items, slap on a flat black paint job and just have fun with it. Professional obligations and family is keeping from that, and now winter is approaching and I don't want to have it just sit. I have lost my storage facility which this was going to be moved to for the winter, so I need to find a new home for her. I have the title in hand. This goes likely without saying, but I suggest trailering it to wherever you want it, though it will go on and off a trailer under its own power just fine.
