Selling my 1988 635csi. The car is in very good condition but has been off the road and in my garage for a few years. I had a tune-up done this past week, changed the plugs and wires, cap and rotors, oil change, air filter, checked and lubricated throttle cable, etc.,. I kept up with maintenance and repairs as much as i could and have all receipts of work that has been done. Too much to list. Exterior is in relatively good shape considering it's age. Interior is in good condition, front leather seats fully refurbished. I love this car but no longer have the room or time to enjoy it. Engine runs strong and is begging to be driven.

THIS 1979 BMW 635CSi was purchased as part of an estate last month. It is licensed for 2014 but I do not know how long it was parked or ran last. The car was owned long term and it was once the owner's "Baby". I was able to get it to start right up, but couldn't get it to run longer than a few seconds, so assume the fuel filters should be changed, or possibly there is an issue with the fuel pump. There wasn't a lot of smoke on startup. I have had a few queries on the transmission type so assume it is important to know that it has the five speed with first to the left and down. There is obvious rust on the rear quarter panels and front fenders so assume there may be rust in other areas that would be typical of this make and model of car. The car is complete with areas of damage as shown in the images. I am selling this car as a parts car, with no warrantee. 1989 BMW 635csi 6series, e24, automatic Alpine white with Lotus interior This 635csi has had only three owners since sold new in Scottsdale, Arizona. The original purchaser kept the car until 1998, when she sold it to one of her local Arizona manager employee. The third and current owner bought it January 2006 (9 years ago) with 128,000 miles on the odometer. The car has rarely seen rain and no snow having spent its life in the Sonora desert. This vehicle has been used infrequently, an average of less than 1500 miles a year, for the past nine years. It has now 141,000 miles and has always easily passed the smog test. This car has been treated as a driver's car, not a collector's car, meaning modifications were made as needed for driveability and eliminate some of the built-in factory quirks. The suspension was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago with new springs, bushings, miscellaneous suspension components and Bilstein shocks all around to replace the troublesome quirky self-leveling set-up. The starter and flywheel were replaced 5000 miles ago. The tires have less than a thousand miles. The battery is in excellent condition. Engine, gearbox and differential are filled with synthetic oil. There is no structural or body rust as expected from a life long Arizona vehicle. However, the car is not completely flawless, it is nice but still a 26 years old car. The air conditioning needs to be repaired and the airbag warning light needs to be reset having been disconnected and reconnected with ignition on. The car turns heads with its Racing Dynamics side skirts and all white theme. It was installed by the original owner when near new as shown on a Polaroid picture taken at the time. The original dealer's bill of sale, window sticker and many records spread over 26 years come with the car, including a picture taken at the dealership when new and the original BMW sales brochure. The car is clear title with the seller warranting to be the true and lawful owner of the car and certifying that the car is free of legal claims or encumbrances by others. Other than the seller's warranty of ownership stated above the vehicle and the bill of sale will be accepted by the new owner for the vehicle as is and, where is, with no other warranty expressed or implied. Prior to bidding, a personal or delegated inspection is recommended. The deposit is non-refundable.
