Acceleration is plenty strong and exceptionally smooth with this engine, and fuel economy is quite good at 20-mpg city and 30-mpg highway, improvements of 1 and 2 mpg, respectively, compared to last year's model. Safety The 2013 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo comes with standard stability control, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and six airbags (front, front side, full-length side curtain).
