This car is absolutely beautiful and in fantastic condition! If you haven't already seen the Sophisigrau metallic gray, you will love the way the metallic highlights pop out in the sunlight! Don't expect to see another 550i in this color every day, it was an option with an upcharge so most dealers wouldn't have stocked many cars with it. The interior is in perfect condition and short of DVD screens and rear climate control, it has almost all options installed. I think the massaging seat option is whacky and never use it, but the ventilated seats are awesome on a hot day. The exterior is in great shape too. There is a slight remnant of a paintless repair on the trunk lid and a small ding on one door (see the attached pictures for the details, more will be added on the weekend at the latest). I found a nearly new 2013 engine and had it installed. There were only 800 miles on the 2013 donor (and 24050 on the car at the time)!!! The front bumper skin is aftermarket and new, but not quite as good as an OEM skin when you look closely. The car was not build as an M-Sport, so to go along with the new front skin, I got new side skirts and a used BMW rear bumper skin to complete the conversion. I know the VIN report looks bad, but I want it in the listing in the spirit of full disclosure. The car did not need any body/paint repairs other than the skins and the frame wasn't damaged at all. It has been thru my local BMW shop for a wheel alignment, seatbelt replacement, airbag system reset, as well as a check of the engine (it needed fuel injector calibrations updated in the ECU). The car arrived with a clean Texas title and since it has only been a couple of days since I registered it in Iowa, the clean Iowa title doesn't yet show up. But that's what you are getting! The title is in hand ready to be passed to you. With the nearly new engine and M-Sport conversion, I see the repairs as an upgrade and hope you do to. You are welcome to ask questions and we can also arrange for a detailed 3rd party inspection that works for both of us. I'm driving the car daily so the mileage will creep up a little by the time the auction closes. Let's talk money for a second... I'm listing the car near where KBB and Edmunds say a private sale should be, but I simply want to hear some offers ASAP. Don't be shy or embarrassed to throw one my way. If you're below trade-in value, it will be declined automatically, but all other offers will either be kept or countered.
