Up for sale is my 2006 M5 which I custom ordered and purchased new in January 2006. The car has had no modifications except for deleting the charcoal filters in the air-boxes. There have been no accidents or paintwork at all. There have been no significant mechanical or electrical issues over the last ten years except for the normal z-pulse steering sensor, a steering lock actuator, a thermostat, a water temp sensor and a voltage regulator. All maintenance was professionally performed at the dealer (through 2010) and at an independent BMW shop (2010-current). It has had a clear bra installed since day one although I recently removed the hood section to redo it but have not reinstalled it. The car has spent very little time parked in the sun; it was either covered or parked under a carport while at work. Since it is a North Carolina car, it has never had a front license plate. Color is rare Sepang Bronze with Sepang Bronze leather and Olive Wood. I purchased this vehicle used from a franchised dealer in July of this year as a replacement road car for my Suburban, and an attempt to own a fuel efficient vehicle. The one and only reason that I am selling is the fact that it is too small for me and I am going back to an SUV. Upon researching the car before purchased, I found the first owner had the vehicle as a lease and then purchased. One of the reasons I chose this particular BMW was that the previous owner had completed the 100k service at around 98k, and I purchased the vehicle with 103900. The parking assist will show a malfunction every now and then, but I am scheduled for an oil change at the BMW dealership and they are scheduled to check out the PDC system. I am selling my sister in laws BMW for her. Please contact me with any questions and I will make every effort to answer or get answers. The car runs and drives perfectly. It does have a few issues. It idles a little rough when first started if it has been sitting for a few days. It does clear up quickly but I felt it should be mentioned. There are also a few lights on on the dash. There is an airbag light and a service engine soon lit up. The car has been in an accident and she thought it received a salvage title. I have the title in hand and it does not say anything about being a salvage vehicle. I don't know if that will appear when the new owner registers it. The car is fun and quick. it handles well and the interior looks very good for an 11 year old car. The car comes with 2 keys/fobs. This may not seem like a big deal, but if you every had to buy a key for one of these you would understand. The last one I purchased was almost $150.
