1999 BMW 328i Sedan for sale. Bought the car to make into a project, but I have other cars and really dont have room for it. I am in the automotive field and planned on doing some large modifications to the car, so when I bought it I really went all out and had it thoroughly gone through to make sure it would be solid and reliable for whatever I threw at it. Unfortunately I did nothing with it, so a whole lot of time and money spent to make this car nearly mechanically perfect will hopefully be to somebody elses benefit. Motor was completely removed from car and resealed, taken to a machine shop which inspected the head and block for any issues, high strength head bolts and gasket installed to avoid a known weak point on these engines. Following have all been replaced: -Timing chain, tensioner, guides are all new(several thousand $ job) -New water pump and thermostat/housing -Coolant transfer lines under intake manifold are new -Brand New Alternator and Battery with under 200 miles on them -Brand New LUK (oe supplier) dual mass clutch installed. under 80 miles on it -New NGK spark plugs -New motor and transmission mounts -ABS module freshly rebuilt, common 3series problem, fixed -All fluids flushed -New Continental tires on rear -New brakes all around just before I bought it, probably less than 1,000 miles on them -Both rear window regulators are new -Right rear door panel new, old one had damage -Aftermarket LED taillights -Projector Headlights with hid's -ICE cold A/C -Passed emissions last month, good to go for 2 years Solid vehicle thats in very good condition for its age. Few minor flaws, but very clean body overall. Interior is in great shape, only has typical BMW drivers seat leather wear. Rare 2 tone black/tan leather interior with sport gauge cluster that has the trim rings in it. Previous owner also installed a flipout screen stereo, but honestly never even drove car enough to try it. The odometer says 175k on the car, but just about everything that could be affected by mileage has been replaced or serviced, making this a very reliable car. Perfect car for a small family or young driver! Excellent graduation present for your student! Gets 27-28 mpg in mixed driving without even trying. Feel free to ask if you have questions. The condition of the car and value of work done to it far exceed the asking price, which will save you considerable money compared to others that will probably need service soon after you buy them.
