1991 BMW 325iX ***Rare 2 Owner Low Mileage Southwest Car*** Vehicle Description: Up for auction is a super rare BMW E30 325iX in excellent condition. This example is RUST FREE, has Ultra-LOW miles, and is completely documented since new. If you know what this car is then, you know how hard they are to find. The iX denotes All Wheel Drive. This is Two Owner Car from Colorado that has spent most of its life in Arizona. The original owner bought the car at Ralph Schomp Imports in Littleton, CO. A little known fact about Colorado is that they do not use salt on the roads, so cars are very unlikely to rust out there! The original owner purchased an extended service contract when the car was new and always dealer serviced it. He kept all of the records for the vehicle. It will come with extensive files (photos below). It came to Tucson, Arizona in November of 1998. The car was driven sparingly and well cared for. The second owner, who was a friend of the original owner subsequently, bought the car. They were an older couple and took very good care of the car and documented the services from their local German shop. The window sticker, the car was $33,885. The Base MSRP on a new 2017 3 Series is $33,450. So, this was an expensive car for its time! Don’t miss your chance to own a great BMW Classic. Believe me, this is a rare opportunity! Cosmetic Condition: This 325iX is in excellent shape inside and out! I have not seen another non-M3 E30 as nice as this one. The Alpine white on Black Leather interior is a very desirable color combination. The paint on this car is All Original and in fantastic condition. The car also has a clean Carfax (available on request). I personally spot wet sanded, buffed, polished, and waxed it. I was amazed at how nice the 25 year old paint shines. The body is solid and straight. No major dents or dings other than the one pictured of the driver side rear bumper. The second owner told me they bumped into a planter. It has been touched up, but not professionally. All of the plastic trim and rubber is also very nice. It is not dry rotted or damaged. The original BBS basket weave style wheels are in good shape an all original. A few have curb rash, but I decided not to have them refinished because the original paint is really nice. I spent a decent amount of time cleaning them with a toothbrush! Overall the exterior is excellent! The interior in this E30 is like a time capsule. The seats show almost no wear and have no rips or tears. They have never been re-dyed or painted. The carpets are clean and look great. All the panels and dash are crack free. The headliner is very clean and has no rips or tears. All the lights on the radio and gauges work. The windows, sunroof, radio, heated seats, OBC all work as they should. The AC blows cold and the heat works as well. Mechanical Condition: This E30 is mechanically sound as well. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. The transmission shifts smooth and even. The steering feels nice and tight. The car does not appear to leak any fluids. I had a brand new set of Kuhmo all-season tires installed. Both previous owners kept all service records. There is literally a stack of papers that will come with the car documenting its history since new.
