It has got body rust and a dented front door. However it is a hoot to drive and handles great (1” lowered Bilstein sport suspension, strut mounts, sport springs, control arms, sways bar, tie rods) and even sounds better with the full UUC Motorwerks sport exhaust! Mechanically sound with 20-30K miles on rear ball joints and trailing arm and front ball joints and updated cooling system (new radiator, fan clutch, thermostat, water pump, radiator, etc.). Has stainless steel braided brake lines to drilled front and slotted rear rotors. Bought in 2009 with 161,700 miles for a 16 year old it now has 199,200 miles. A great safe, excellent handling vehicle, the insurance company recommended. Used in BMW CCA Street Survival course at Tire Rack and autocrossing this still provides miles spirited fun with the well bolstered heated M sport seats. Teenager and old fart senior enjoyable Alpine CDE-105 AM FM CD/MP3 Player sends signals to a 600 watt Kicker 4 channel amplifier and a 600 watt Kicker subwoofer amplifier for a 12” Memphis SE professional enclosed subwoofer. Currently on 225/50 -16 Kumho Esta AST summer tires and includes 225/50-16 Hankook Wintercept snow tires.
