For sale is my 1972 BMW 2002 Tii project car, If you are looking at this ad then you probably know about these cars and that the Tii is the most sought after models..especially if it"s a "Roundie". which this is. I recently restored another Inka Orange 1972 2002 (non Tii) and it sold for $16,000 very quickly. (see the photo) this car should be around the $25-$30,000 when finished. it comes with most all of the original parts, bolts and interior. I know the rear bumper and radiator are not there. the car has a very nice paint job in its original Colorado Orange that cost almost $5k. I estimate it will take another $8k to do it right. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1970 BMW  2002 Roundie! This car is VERY fun to drive and has a lot of  work that has been done to it. It was rebuilt several years ago  by the previous owner and I have a documented account of what  was done around 2009. This was a present for a 16 year old boy,  lucky kid! That is why it has the 1600 badge on the back and not  the 2002. But this is a 2002 with a 2.0 engine and 4 speed  transmission. It was changed to red and the paint  was a decent quality paint job but it is starting to show some  age and there is a bit of rust coming through on the passenger  rear fender (see pics). There are also some rust bubbles coming  up as well so this should be addressed within the next few  years. The major areas of concern are in great condition and  were addressed in the original restoration. The shock towers are  solid and have been treated with rust prevention material. Spare  tire well is great, floor pans are excellent, rockers are solid  as well. The engine was rebuilt and doesn't  have a ton of miles on it, there is no smoke, no leaks, and it  starts right up on a cold day. Modern seat belts were installed.  Aftermarket stereo. Aftermarket steering wheel. LED 3rd Brake  light. The only downsides other than the  small amount of rust on the rear is the dash has a few cracks.  Overall RETURN POLICY This vehicle is sold  strictly AS IS, WHERE IS. All of the suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein Shocks, BMW Race Clutch, BMW 17" Race wheels, tires with 90% tread, upgraded brake system. It is also outfitted with race seats and belts. Stock sunroof, newer paint. Fender flares, front spoiler. I was told the engine was completely rebuilt before it was installed but I don't have any documentation of that. I recently had the entire gone through, engine tuned, valves adjusted, etc and this car runs great. Tons of power. The only issue I haven't resolved is the speedometer, it will need a newer gauge cluster or some type of converter for the newer transmission. This is a fun car to drive and turns heads everywhere.
