I am selling my wife's daily driver a 2001 Audi TT Quatro , 225 HP 1.8 L Turbo, 6 Speed Manual Transmission. This car gets 27 to 32 miles per gallon at highway speed and still drives like a new car. Do not let the high mile's scare you away they are all Interstate from our house to the Hospital where my wife works. The car runs great, shifts great, drives great, A/C will freeze you out and does not leak, the Heat will fry you in the winter time, all controls work on the car. The car has been garaged since we have owned it. We purchased this one owner (female) car five years ago with a broken timing belt, at the time of purchase the car had 139546 miles on the odometer. The car was delivered to World Imports in Jacksonville, Fl. where ASE Master Tech's refreshed this engine, replacing all worn and damaged parts with new Audi OEM parts to the tune of over 6,000 dollars. All new valves, timing belt, timing chain, guides, tensioners, water pump, secondary belts, new oil dipstick and tube, new radiator overflow bottle, one new engine cover and new fastening hardware were installed at this time. The car then ran like brand new. About six months later the clutch began to feel funny so it went back to World Imports for a performance clutch and single stainless lightened flywheel from ECS Tuning was installed. The Haldex unit was serviced at this time with new oil and filter and has been serviced every 30K miles since with Audi OEM parts, (I have the tool to do this and will include it in the sale of the car). The car has ran on Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil since I have owned it changed every 7500 miles. About three months after the engine work the car's alternator started acting up so a new Bosch unit was purchased and installed. The car has a brand new battery less than 6 months old to replace the original factory battery which finally gave out. This car has the factory HID headlights, I have kept the lenses cleaned by buffing them about every six months, I noticed when I took the photos that it is time to do so again and will do this next week, they will look brand new at that point. The car has a brand new primary fuel pump, new fuel filter. Coolant was flushed and replaced with Audi coolant this spring. A few months ago I purchased a set of 2006 Audi TT Seven Spoke 18 inch factory wheels and put them on the car, these wheels came with tires which were partially worn so I replaced them with four brand new ZR performance tires that have very low mileage on them, they measured at 1/32 of wear from new. The wheels had curb rash on all four when I bought them, one wheel would not balance correctly so I replaced it with a factory Audi matching wheel which had been refurbished locally, this wheel looks brand new and is on the passenger rear of the car. I no longer have the wide five spoke wheels that were on the car when new, they were in bad shape so I sold them on craigslist. I would judge this car as a 6 or 7 on a scale of 10 ( I am very picky). It has the original paint and show's it's age with nicks and scratches associated with the miles driven on I-95 to and from work. It has no body damage in the form of dents or rust, it has never been wrecked, the Georgia title is clear. The interior has leather seats, the seats are not torn or ripped but they have the cracking of old seats that have spent their life in the South, I treat them every time the car is washed, the car has good carpet and floor mats and overall the interior shows well. Power windows, power locks, heated seats, AM/FM Cassette with factory 6 disk CD changer in the drivers side passenger arm rest all work fine, it is the Bose system and sounds great. The car has electric rear defrost which works fine. The car just had it's window tint replaced by a custom shop in Jacksonville, all side windows and the rear are tinted, nothing on the windshield. I have both Audi key fobs which open the hatch, doors and windows, these are laser cut and coded to this car by Audi, I also have the two spare laser cut and coded standard keys for the car. I have the original owners manual, a factory service manual and a binder of receipts for everything done on the car since I have owned it, well over 12,000 dollars in maintenance on this car. KNOWN ISSUES: Anyone familiar with these cars know that they have some common issues so here is the list for this car. Instrument cluster: (this can be repaired by sending it to one of several locations on Ebay or elsewhere for around $300) Fuel gauge not accurateWater temp gauge not accurateCenter screen has missing pixels Windshield Washer: The windshield washer has stopped working, the pump has been replaced once and it worked fine, it could be simple like a wire off or fuse or the water line off not sure have not troubleshot the problem. ESP System: This is the traction control system for the car, the small light comes on and off at various times my Audi dealer says that the ESP lateral stability sensor is bad a remanufactured one from Ebay is $109 dollars and is plug and play, easy to get to right beside the drivers right foot under the dash. Parking lot scrape: Just behind the passenger side rear wheel arch, there is a place where something scraped some of the paint off the bumper cover, a black primer showes there, I took a close up photo of this for the add that is the photo of the wheel. Spares: I have some spares which go with the car, I have four brand new brake rotors, all new brake pads, haldex wrench, oil filters, coolant, hydraulic fluid, fuel sending unit, fuel hard line tank to filter and some other misc spares. The car does not need this stuff right now but will some day. If you had to purchase this stuff it would cost between $1000-1500 dollars.
