Audi TT MK I (2000) Never Modified (original suspension/arms, no spoiler) ‘Odin’ Great Odin’s Raven is for sale. Here is a unique opportunity to acquire an early Mark I Audi TT that did not receive the recall modifications that 99.9% of all TTs received, meaning the rear spoiler was not added to the back hatch and the new front a-arms. The car has lower mileage for its age, and although it does have some cosmetic and mechanical issues to sort I believe that to the right person with the time and know-how this will not be a problem. So in saying this, throw me an offer if you are interested as I would like to see it go to a good home. I am a large fan of TTs. I have owned two first-year Mark Is, and always thought that the original design without the spoiler was extremely clean looking – spoke German. In my life, this car has taken the back seat as more of a hobbyist or minor tweaking car. It has many cool and tasteful modifications done to it. The past owner shelled out a ton of dough for practically every mechanical modification that can be done on the TT platform; hence it has upped to horsepower to the 280-300 range depending on which dyno is used. Unfortunately I have not driven this car that much. I have just been cleaning it up, checking everything, and wondering which type of wheels to fit. Basically it’s in the condition that came to me – but substantially cleaner with the paint buffed and clayed, the interior done, everything waxed, engine bay detailed, vacuumed, etc. The transmission (5 Speed manual) does need work, though it does drive in reverse, 1st, 3rd, etc. So it does start up perfectly and run and drive, but 2nd gear is not active – nor can I tell you if 4-5th works. Since these are basically VW 02j transmissions I am told there are options out there. I would probably send it to one of the myriad specialists out there to beef it up – since the car is putting out close to if not more than 100 horsepower from stock. This is the fastest TT I have ever driven. There are some nicks and scratches, there is a crack in the front windshield towards the bottom from a highway stone. There is a ding behind the driver’s side door, a scratch in the paint behind the passenger, and the front spoiler which was professionally modified for the very large intercooler probably needs to be refinished paint wise to a higher standard. The rear lenses were blackened and the front grill updated. Right now there is a mixture of rims on the car – Rial and Axis – and the car comes with another three rims – but there are only three per set (x2). The tires will need replacing. The track on this car is very wide – check the rear photos. This TT has extensive modifications with more than $12k in performance-enhancing parts: The List: 1) Stoptech front oversize brakes w/calipers BBK 2295 ($2500 alone) 2) Rear brake kit 3) Front exhaust down pipe (2.5 Inch) with high-flow catalytic converter 4) Custom fabricated stainless 2.5 inch cat-back exhaust 5) Cold air intake - Neuspeed 6) Mass air meter 7) Large turbo inlet pipe 8) Eibach springs 9) Bilstein racing suspension 10) 32mm hollow three-way adjustable rear sway bar 11) Neuspeed short shifter/ Neuspeed front strut brace 12) ECS Tuning N75 boost control valve 13) Front grill – later TT style 14) ECS Tuning Stage 1 clutch with seven (7) pound aluminum flywheel 15) Mishimoto racing radiator 16) Large front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) for Audi TT 17) Forge splitter valve 18) Revo Stage 1 chip/flash update 19) Hi-Flow fuel injectors - custom benched 20) ECS Tuning rear wheel spacers 21) And…an entire binder of receipts dating back at least ten years with original owner’s manual. I have been working on this car, but unfortunately do not have the time as I am moving. The manual 5-speed transmission has issues, and needs to be rebuilt/adressed. The car still runs and drives as it is but does not go into second gear. I would not recommend driving this – it would need to be picked up. Please do not ask me if it would make it to California as-is – I would not drive it to California until the transmission is checked. This TT is a nice alternative to a Japanese Nissan Z or some other type of Asian rocket. You usually do not see them this highly modified, but yet in sleeper original form. It will be a cool project for someone who has the right mindset and always wanted an original Mark I TT. Needless to say this Audi TT is sold as-is, where-is. It is a 15-year-old sport auto that needs some mechanical TLC and some finishing, but I believe it would be a rewarding small project for someone. The chassis is really straight and the car has good bones. The doors and the trunk/hood close very well (better than the other Mark I in my life). It spent part of its life in New Mexico, Northern California (San Francisco), then some time in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and I brought it back east only to sit. Remarkably the chassis and body is very clean - especially underneath. I highly recommend inspection in person. I will work with shippers. If not purchased in two weeks I will be taking this with me.

This car is my baby and its unfortunate but I have to let her go. I bought this car 5 years ago and it has 13,000 miles on it, I am only the second owner of this vehicle. This stays in the garage and covered when I'm not driving it. I have never taken this car to a car wash, I detail it myself. Like I mentioned the car has a hands free system that just needs a new microphone, its hard to drive a 6 speed manual transition and talk on the phone at the same time, other than that it works very well. The front end back of the side mirrors and part of the hood is protected by 3M invisible bra. I had the windows tinted in the car after I bought it. Please feel free to ask any questions if you have them. The only flaw this car has is the passenger side front and rear tire rim is scratched.
