Hello,I have a 2005 Audi S4 up for sale. I purchased the car in the past fall for the winter due to it having AWD. It is fantastic in the snow and has great heat for these cold/snowy days! I've decided to continue driving my previous vehicle and to list this one to go to a new home. The car currently has 150695 miles on it. It spent most of it's life in California and the condition really does account for that. The car has a clean Carfax and I can provide a copy if requested. The car is an automatic with the S-tronic transmission, it shifts very crisp and all modes function correctly. The 4.2L V8 is extremely strong still and pulls very hard under moderate throttle, no major hick-ups. Previous owner completed the timing guide/chain service, no abnormal noises from the engine at all. Previous owner deleted the resonators and installed aftermarket mufflers, this car sounds amazing under acceleration and makes little noise at highway speed, it has a great balance of sound. There are no know major mechanical faults with the engine or transmission, no lights on the dash. The body is in good shape, no major dents or dings, paint is in good condition no major scratches or scuffs. The interior is in good condition as well, all of the lights are functioning and all components are functioning. The interior trim is nicely intact as well. The suede insert on the drivers side seat is torn and would need to be resown, all other seats are in great shape. No other major interior defects. I do currently have a lien through my local credit union in Ann Arbor that will need to be satisfied to complete the title transfer. This Audi S4 has been a great car for me. I purchased it when it had 32K miles. It was under full Audi warranty at time of purchase. It currently has 97K miles and the regular service has been performed by a local Audi dealer. I have complete service records on this vehicle since new along with books. Time has come to sell my B5 S4 Avant and move onto something else. I am the second owner with clear title in hand. Bought the car two years ago with a timing chain that had snapped in one of the heads so I replaced the whole engine. Transmission shifted good but synchros were shot causing all the shifts to be clunk central so I replaced it with a known good 01E that was rebuilt. Car runs like a dream now, a lot of maintenance has been done over the time from full engine overhaul to just about every bushing in the suspension. Engine rebuild was done at 161k miles to engine, Stage 3 (turbos, inlets, injectors, intercoolers, maf sensor) all done at 185k miles and currently at 189k. 4000 miles on stage 3 setup. Car drives great after all this time and hard work put into it, it has definitely come along way from when I got it. Had torn bushings, shot struts, broken things here and there that I have worked on to bring it back to 100%. Car currently has 189k on the dash but that is in no way where the car is on maintenance so it is a number indicating the age of car not the condition its in. Not in a hurry to sell as I have a lot of money invested in it and know what it is worth as Avants in a manual are harder and harder to come by. I was able to get my hands on a set of OEM RS4 brushed aluminum mirror caps that are currently on the car, I will be removing them and putting stock black mirrors back on or we can work something out to have them sold with the car for the right price. I didn't cheap out on any of the parts that are on this car as you can tell by most of the brands of things I purchased. May consider trades depending on what it is.
