Both were very "old school" and archaic. The GPS used CD maps. The entire unit was controlled via one wheel/knob. If you wanted to type an address into the nav system, you had to spin the wheel which would take you through each letter of the alphabet until you got to the letter you wanted, then you hit "enter" and do the same for every letter of the address. It takes 5 minutes to even get the address input! The sound of the B&O was not accurate at all, perhaps in part due to the fact that there were no options for advanced fine tuning on that old unit. The amp was also sorely underpowered for a good system. In order to get the sound and clarity I wanted, I had the system professionally designed with the best of everything. I spared NO expense on the sound system. I listen to classical music, and intonation and clarity are paramount. I tested many, many options with the designer. When we hit the right combination, I had the system installed. Car like these get pulled over for doing 70 in a 65 in some places "just because". Trust me. I am moving to Montana, and after MUCH thought, I realized that it isn't sane to bring this car with me.
