Relisting due to a non-paying bidder. Please get some shipping estimates before bidding!!! Car is in Las Vegas, NV. Up for your consideration is an enthusiast owned 2003 Audi allroad Quattro with Tiptronic transmission. Take a peek at the last picture; we only have VAG cars in the family! The allroad was with us since 2011. Motor: If you are looking at this listing, you already know what it is. The 2.7L Twin Turbo engine is one of the all-time greats (Porsche 959 has a 2.7L twin turbo motor as well!!) For those who do not know, this is the same motor that came in the S4 and RS4; it is one of the most tunable Audi motors out there with a strong following even a decade after it went out of production. It is the last V iron block from Ingolstadt after which they went all aluminum blocks for subsequent generations. There are 2.7TT motors out there that are tuned to make north of 900bhp!!! The flat torque of this motor is something to experience, it pulls like a big V8 all the way to redline. Gas mileage is however not the strong suite of this motor and it can drop to 16/17mpg if you keep it on the boil. I have replaced almost everything that can cause issues with the motor like plugs, oil seals, timing belt and it has been super reliable for the last 12,000 miles. Suspension: allroad is unique in that is has a 4 position air suspension with low settings for highway and high settings for 8.3 inches of off-road clearance. It is automatic and it drops and raises depending on road speed. The constant, electronic differential lock AWD Quattro system is amazing in all conditions. Sensors individually monitor and direct power and braking to each wheel for stunning control in ice, snow, whatever. Not only does that make it safer to drive than a conventional 4wd, driving in snow is a dream! Interior: This car has almost all the options that came with it. Full two tone leather, wood trim, automatic climate control, heated front and rear seats, CD type Navigation and all other bells and whistles you can think of from a VAG luxury car. The cabin is remarkably silent even at freeway speeds. There lots of luggage and gear room! With the rear seats down, two can sleep in it or you can haul bikes. Maintenance and Upgrades: The following parts have been upgraded/replaced during my ownership. I have $10,000 worth of service records on this car. I have never cut any corners since this was a keeper. Timing Belt (has another 50,000 miles left on it)Water pumpCamshaft Oil sealsRadiator FanAux Fan Control unitExhaust Temp sensorsModule DCOP upgradeArnott air suspensionAir pump (suspension)Coolant hoses/Aux coolant pumpFront level sensorCondenser fan assy.AC serviceCoolant expansion tankCV boot/ front axle rebuildFull front suspension replacement with BLAU upgrade(including tie rods)Battery (500 miles)Fuel pump (50 miles)Monster “allroad” mats3M celebrity tint that keeps it real cool even in Las Vegas summer.Comes with 3 keysMatching Goodyears; also come with a 5th full size spare tire for emergency replacement. The spare tire in the car is a donut with its own air-pump. Extras: Burgundy is a rare color for this car and is my favorite of all allroad colors. It took me 6 months to find a good one. This car has never seen snow or salt. Originally sold in San Diego, went to Phoenix and now in Las Vegas.BOSE Premium sound package (Audi Symphony II) provides excellent sound clarity with strong base and mids, you really feel immersed in part due to the otherwise silent cabin; connections and electronics for SAT radio hookup.Audi updated the car in 2003 with updated CANBUS and related electronics. It has CD based navigation and Onstar, old tech that is not very useful anymore unless converted to a COSTAR Bluetooth hands-free.Xenon headlamps with fog lights, front and rearAutomatic Dual mode climate control with rear seat vents.Airbags everywhere with side impact protection and "crumple zones".Servotronic speed sensitive steering, one of the best weighted on any Audi I have driven.Armored underbody (rear wheel wells are even padded to prevent noise from rocks and gravel)"Premium" interior package (leather, power sun roof and power everything else);Sun "blinds" for all rear windows; two integrated car seat connection hooks. "Cold weather package" integrated ski bag between rear seats to protect interior from wet skis, heated front and rear seats (6 heating levels and it warms up fast. 6 is HOT);Mirror polishing the two piece factory Dual Spoke wheels was an ordeal, but ain’t those make it stunning!!! Just the wheels and tires are worth $800+All auto-dimming mirrors, exterior have fold-in capability, interior has compassIntegrated 3-button HOMELINK garage opener. No engine checklights or funny noises of any kind. Outstanding Issues: So why I am selling my favorite steed in the stable? A few weeks ago, I parked at the mall after say 20min of driving, came back to see most of transmission oil in the parking lot without any warning. Towed it home and from what I can gather, the transmission oil pump seal could be shot. The pump is integrated into the transmission and so the transmission would have to be dropped to replace it. Min quote for labor from Audi shop was $800. The car runs and drives with no funny noises or transmission slippage, please see the YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j-D2eSVbpI&feature=em-share_video_user But with little transmission oil left within , it won’t go very far for sure. I decided to keep and do a 061E (6-speed manual) conversion. In the meanwhile, wife got the SUV she always wanted and now I have no place to park 4 cars. This is a perfect car to do the 6MT conversion. It must be towed home, but can be driven into the truck/trailer. No very many auto transmissions made it to 200,000 miles because the 2.7TT was too much of a motor for it.The heater-core is a little weak and so it heats up slow; not a big deal in Vegas. The heated seats gets toasty real fast. The AC blows cold and it has been serviced.Rear hatch sun blind has come off. It needs to be fitted.Paint has a few paint chips and scratches in sync with its age. Rear bumper cover is replaced due to a parking lot mishap and it not painted like the front. Small dent on the rear quarter panel, hardly noticeable, still with original paint. It breaks my heart to sell it since I have babied it and wanted to keep it forever. It was love at first sight for me. But at the moment, I need the space and cannot have two project cars (My 2000 Jetta is getting a makeover). I know I have another allroad sometime in the near future. The C5 Avant is a beautiful car that will never go out of style (look at the ugly Mercedes E wagon and BMW 5 wagons of the era) that is sure to become a collectable classic. It is already called the ur-allroad and if you google, you will know the ardent following this car it has. Terms and conditions: Know that you are buying a car that needs transmission work. It however will start and run to load on trailer etc. Car is located in Las Vegas NV. Email me if you are interested in viewing it. A $250 deposit is needed in 24 hours with PayPal. Balance with money order or cashier’s check unless PayPal fees is paid for. Full payment need to be completed before the car leaves my driveway. Bid only if you are willing to pay. Be assured of a negative feedback if you do not follow through the sale. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; I can offer reasonable help to load and secure. I reserve the right to sell it elsewhere, it is listed in local classifieds. If it doesn’t sell in a month, I will part it. I know how much these cars are worth in parts. I already have an offer for the wheels and headlights.
