I purchased this 2004 Audi A6 Quattro from the estate of the original, elderly owner when he passed away in 2009. The car had only 14,000 miles at the time, but since it was 5 years old, I had the dealer perform a timing belt service anyway. Another belt service was performed in 9/2014, so it's good to go for another 2.5 years. This car has been treated to Mobil 1 since I purchased it and was just serviced at 92,929 miles. Other than routine service, this car has been problem free for the past 8 years. No check engine light has EVER illuminated, no ABS/Brake lights, no Air Bag light...nothing. The only item that is currently questionable is the power steering which makes a moaning noise when it's below 45 degrees. It's 70 out today in NC and no noise. I had the pump replaced two years ago and someone told me if the shop didn't replace the PS fluid with the proper type, it could make noise when cold. Its original Metallic Silver Paint still shows very well with just a few scuffs. This car has always lived under a shelter since it was new. The lower portion of the front facia has taken a little abuse over the years thanks to parking curbs, but still presents well. I have upgraded the original 16" rolling stock to OEM 17" wheels and 235/45/R17 High Performance tires with over half the tread remaining. The Black Leather interior is almost perfect with one minor scuff on the rear seat bottom. All of the power options operate as they should with the exception of the CD player which has a disc stuck in it.
