Thus far, it has had just three owners, all of whom have had the car serviced by Aston Martin. The Vantage was originally solid at Aston Martin of Tysons Corner in Vienna, Virginia. Three years later the car was traded back in and the original dealer then sold it to the second owner in July of 2010. The car was then sold by Fox Motorsports in Chicago to the third owner who has serviced it at the Aston dealership in St. Louis. All of the service work to date is attached at the end of the ad. Hand assembled at the Aston Martin factory in Germany, the 4.3 litre V8 produces a stout 380 HP. Although the motor was loosely based on the Jaguar AJ-V8, it's really a completely different motor featuring a race-style dry sump system which allowed the manufacturer to lower the center of gravity in the car significantly. The overall effect was a 49/51 weight distribution that feels wonderful in the hands of an enthusiast. The cylinder block, heads, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, cams and engine management are all Aston Martin as well. VERY RARE Yellow 2006 Aston Martin Vantage V8!Excellent Condition & Low Miles! Please See YouTube Video @: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1KDEBNnhok For sale is my 2006 Aston Martin Vantage V8. I have owned, and loved, this car for the past three years. As I write this, it has just under 17k miles, and is in fabulous condition. In fact, it's better than it was when I bought it in July of 2011. At that time, the wheels and sway bars (in the engine bay) were both water stained (they are porus aluminum). I took the wheels off and had them chromed. The sway bars, I had bead blasted and painted yellow to match the car. Typical to these cars, some of the leather on the dash had shrunk and begun to pull loose. I had those pieces removed, recovered, and restitched (yellow, of course) to perfectly match the rest of the interior. I also repaired the carbon fiber front splitter, which matches the CF rear spoiler (about $5,000 for those two pieces). To protect that splitter, I added a front curb/proximity sensor. I also added a laser jammer system (about $1,500), covered the entire front end with clear bra, and had the windows tinted. A few thousand miles ago, I put new, "Z" rated, BridgeStone Potenzas on all four corners, and just three months ago replaced the battery ($500, from Aston Martin).This is a non-smoking, "no-issues" car. I had it on my lift last week, and you could just about eat off the belly of this car!In case you're wondering, I am selling it because I now have seven cars (for just me and my wife). In addition to the Aston Martin Vantage, I have a 2011 R8 V10 Spyder, a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V coupe, a 2012 Cadillac SRX-4, a 2009 Dodge Viper ACR, a 2014 Ford Raptor, and a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8.
