The first-generation V12 Vanquish, designed by Ian Callum, was unveiled at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show and was produced from 2001 to 2005. It featured as the official James Bond car in the film Die Another Day. The Vanquish S was unveiled in 2004 with a more powerful engine and improved aerodynamics. The Vanquish S and V12 Vanquish were replaced by the DBS in 2007. In 2012 the Vanquish name was revived for the successor to the DBS. The Aston Martin Vanquish S debuted at the 2004 Paris Auto Show, with increased horsepower and performance and slight styling revisions. The engine displacement remained at 5,935 cc (5.9 L; 362.2 cu in), with power increased from 450 to 520 hp (340 to 390 kW). Visual changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape, a new raised bootlid with a larger integrated spoiler incorporating the third high level brake light (in the rear window on the original Vanquish), a Vanquish S badge on the bootlid (the original Vanquish had no rear model designation) and the addition of a small front splitter (although this was mainly done for aerodynamic reasons). As part of its improvements, the Vanquish S featured a slightly improved coefficient of drag of 0.32 (from 0.33), with help from a redesigned splitter and boot lid. Perfect history with no accident, everything works as always with our cars as we choose them very carefully. It has hardly high miles as it was driven 3500 miles a year , just enough to make sure all the moving parts get warmed up and lubricated and seals are moist and not leaking. Tires are near new in back and brand new in front. Everything works , air is ice cold, navigation will take you anywhere you want to with great tunes coming out of the premium system. New for 2007 are perforated leather seats and improved padding for greater comfort. Now they also have 2 stage heating as well as seat memory. No more old school rear view mirror, these are now electrochromatic self dimming. And the biggest news is the arrival of .....cup holders( or should i say martini holder ?) and arm rest that opens for storage, that is what i call progress! This is a complete car, meaning, 2 keys ( $$$$$ ), manual, nav disc, mats, battery tender ( $$$) umbrella are all there. FYI having a few miles is not a bad thing, not when it is barely 25000 miles, i have seen many cars with 5 to 10K miles in terrible shape and many higher mile cars that was driven properly that is better in many ways. So you get the same car for a lot less than a 10K mile car, nothings worng with that is there? We can lease, finance with up to 144 months plan at low interest rates. The top is snag free and open and close smoothly and quietly. Interior leather as you can see is like new with no tear or damage of any kind. All in all a fantastic car at a huge discount. Car was dealer maintained from day one and all service has been done including all fluids and filters were also changed. t will come with battery tender, owners manual as well as two keys and 2 remotes and umbrella. OEM floor mats will also be included. This has the very expensive factory sports exhaust that is a $7000 option as well as the very rare and expensive dual shift transmission that is a $5000 option, notice the + and - buttons on the steering wheel. Other factory options include the sport seats, stainless steel mesh grill, red calipers. Standard features are air, power windows, power top,abs brake, stability control,power and heated seats,keyless entry,remote trunk release. Original MSRP is close to $180,000 and we are asking a small fraction of it. This is the only 2003 with low miles and dual shift out there at these prices, many others with 20 to 40 K miles are asking more and in nowhere near the shape nor having the extensive options of this car has. Carfax showed a minor accident and it was mild as it was noted airbag was not deploy and car drove away, think about that and you will appreciate the mild nature of the accident. We inspected it and can verify that it was just a fender and we lifted the car and inspected the undercarriage and find no structural repairs made. I get asked often why there were so many owner and i can tell you that most of the cars in this price range were first sold to very well heeled owners who typically change cars yearly as carfax shows one owner per year until the third owner who kept it for almost 4 years. We bought the car back from owner #5 when they moved to a colder climate where high performance car would not be a good idea. The fact that we did bought it back tells you what we think of the conidtion of this car.
