1976 Alfa Spider. 87,000 Original miles. Car was painted and parked in garage 10+ years ago and not moved. Runs and drives great. Just got it out for the first time in 10+ years. Fuel system was drained when it was parked, so replaced fuel pump and hoses from tank also all filters to get it started. Changed transmission and differential fluids, also clutch and brake fluids Spent $1600.00 at Alfa West in Denver to replace all that was needed. New oil change. Replaced plugs and tuned up. All fluids, belts and cables replaced. New Battery, All bulbs and fuses replaced so lights work New Radiator hoses and coolant New throttle cable. New spare and tire in trunk. Also has jack and tool kit. Top in great shape no tears. No cracks in back window. Leather interior is not torn but has surface cracks in seats from sitting for so long (see pics) No rust, great paint on the car. Needs TiresRadio Antenna missingDoor lock tumblers are in the trunk with other spare parts, need to be reinstalled

You either understand Alfa-Romeos or you don't. Cars like this 1984 Spider Veloce don't make a lot of sense to our rational minds, but slide behind the wheel and it whispers seductively in fluent Italian and suddenly you find yourself running it through the gears just for the sheer joy of the sound and the feel of a machine acting as your dance partner. It also helps that it's good looking. Sportier than an MG and undeniably Italian, this Alfa is the entry-level two-seater for the guy who knows the real thing when he sees it. Every manufacturer has built a two-seat roadster, it seems, but few can do it better than the Italians. It starts with great body lines, and the Spider Veloce, which endured for decades virtually unchanged, shows off a lot of flair in a compact package. The paint is not original but in decent condition for it's age with only a few BLEMISHES of use and wear, which is fitting on a car that's designed to be the ultimate dance partner. Panel fit is quite good given the era and the hand-built nature of the car, and the shape works just fine without the body add-ons that would come a few years later. Simple, elegant, and extremely sporty, it shows off the little things that the Italians do so well. Note the neat little flush-fitting door handles, the exhaust pipe that's almost (but not quite!) centered under the rear bumper, and, of course, that Alfa grille standing proud up front, neatly integrated into the bumper assembly. The special Italian touch extends to the interior, where even this bargain-priced roadster gets two-tone buckets that wear newer seat covers. A wood-rimmed wheel adds to the interior's ambience. Beautiful Jaeger instruments in a pair of hoods jutting out of the dash show off the simplicity that has long been a hallmark of Italian automotive design, with the secondary instruments slightly canted towards the driver. The ventilation system is typical Italian, with controls that are hard to decipher, but that's really all part of the charm in a car like this, although the A/C seems to need a recharge. There's also a newer AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit that was installed many years ago and probably due for an upgrade today. The trunk is actually well-shaped and spacious enough to hold luggage for two, and a black canvas convertible top fits neatly. The rorty 2-liter engine sings to life with gusto and loves to rev, and with a glorious sound from the new muffler out back, you'll be looking for reasons to drop a gear or two and pin the throttle. Aluminum cam covers are a traditional Alfa look, and the fuel injection system has that instant throttle response that makes these cars such a joy to drive. And contrary to what you may have heard, these tough little Italian sports cars are actually reliable and sturdy, perfect for having fun without the worries. The 5-speed manual gearbox snicks through the gears thanks to a new clutch and the suspension has a great combination of control and supple body movements, so the car is all-day comfortable. Four-wheel discs live behind stylish 5-spoke alloys carrying 195/65/14 blackwall radials. Fun and stylish, this bargain-priced exotic is a great entry-level Italian. Sure, it needs a little TLC from it's new owner to make it the ultimate driving machine, but for this price, you get a genuine Alfa Romeo that gives you a real taste of pure sports car magic.

ALFA ROMEO: 1981 Spider, 85,000 original miles in red with black/tan interior with a manual transmission 5-speed, garaged and properly serviced. New manual fuel injection pump, rebuilt thermostatic actuator, replaced radiator hose, air filter housing and ignition coil assembly, new tailpipe/muffler/resonator, new brake master cylinder and proportioning valve, new clutch system including slave cylinder and master cylinder and new parking brakes. The paint has a few cracks and dings as a 34 year old paint job would! Very good condition with no rust, runs great with no other engine repairs needed so mechanically very sound. Original convertible top has a hole in the back window plastic that needs to be replaced as well as one of the clamps to close the top. Passenger door opens from inside but not outside. Really nice original Alfa. One of 6,587 for model year 1984. Mostly original paint, nothing touched up, and nothing detailed for photos. As nice as this car looks it could easily be gussied up with a professional detail, steam clean the engine bay, and dye seats. The seats have no cracks despite the way they appear in photos. Maintenance records available for the last several years. Runs and drives quite well, turn key mechanically. Color is ice blue and the engine stats are... 1,962 cc 128 PS (94 kW; 126 hp) 178 N·m (131 lb·ft) The Series 3 Spider was previewed in North America for the 1982 model year with the introduction of 2.0 liter Bosch electronic fuel injection to replace the SPICA mechanical injection. The Spider underwent a major styling revamp in 1983, which saw the introduction of black rubber front and rear bumpers. The front bumper incorporated the grille and a small soft rubber spoiler was added to the trunk lid. The change altered the exterior appearance of the car considerably and was not universally praised by enthusiasts. Various other minor mechanical and aesthetic modifications were also made, and the 1600 car (never available in North America) dropped the "Junior" name. The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Fourleaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986, with many aesthetic tweaks, including sideskirts, mirrors, new front and rear spoilers, hard rubber trunk mounted spoilers with integral 3rd stoplight, unique 15" alloys and optional removable hardtop. Different interior trim included blood red carpets and gray leather seats with red stitching. QV was offered in only 3 colours: red, silver and black. It was otherwise mechanically identical to the standard Spider Veloce model, with a 1962 cc double overhead cam, four-cylinder engine (twin two-barrel carburetors in Europe; North American models retained the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection introduced for the 1982 model year except that the VVT mechanism was now L-Jet activated) and five-speed manual transmission.[3] The interior was revised with a new center console, lower dash panels (to meet U.S. regulations) and a single monopod gauge cluster (with electronic gauges). Beautiful Spider up for sale. I love driving this car! I owned a '74 that I drove all over the Napa and Sonoma Valleys and thought that it was the most fun I would have in an Alfa - let alone car. This one feels a step quicker and I could spend entire days in 3rd through the mountains (Which I have - see video below) Great power, runs great and gets tons of compliments when I am out. My wife and I drove out to the lake the other day and had six people come up and tell us what a great car it was! (My wife is not happy I am selling it.... Serioulsy, my wife is not happy I am selling it.) It has been babied (and give its mileage, under enjoyed, over the years.) I purchased it from out of state and would need to re-install smog equipment to make it work here in California.Body is in great shape. No dents, straight, clean. Top is in great shape with no tears or cracks and crystal clear plastic (see pictures). All gauges work well. Professionally installed Pioneer detachable face CD deck - you can actually hear it when whipping through those mountain curves. Interior is in good condition - the shifter boot is little worn in the corners. This is an incredible spider.Unfortunately i have to make room in my garage for new toys so i am selling a few that i have enjoyed.This Spider just got new parts and work for over 1200$(will send receipt for serious buyers).Car needs tune up.Everything is working , top in great condition, interior is almost perfect, only blemish i can think of is the 2 cracks in the dash.(no noises).Tires are good, NO grinding on 2nd gear!The car was painted 3 years ago or so, the color is in excellent condition.original spider's rims, original interior.NO rust.This is a rare find with all Alfa romeo manuals, booklets etc.... almost 40 years old car original booklets photos attached.Car is held in my garage.These cars are getting rare every day, i have some history on the car and the mileage is original, it is a rare find with this millage , the British green with tan interior and the condition it is.If you are looking for a real solid Spider, this is the one, i have sold my newer Spider last week and kept another one for myself. I know how these cars should ride, maintain and look.I would not recommend driving it in its condition long distance as the car needs tuning and it does back fire after 15-20 minutes of driving. 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce95,183 miles Series 2 2.0L twin cam inline 4 cylinder engine Bosch electronic fuel injection 5 speed manual transmission Power windows Clean & clear title Carfax illustrating 1 owner 0 accidents The 1982 model was a very unique and rare year for the Alfa Romeo Spider. It was an overlap year that became highly sought after; the last of the old "Series 2" body style, regarded as more sleek and appealing than its predecessor. Yet it also carries the much more reliable Bosch electronic fuel injection found in the Series 3. Previous Series 2 models used SPICA mechanical injection which was troublesome, yet the Series 3 had many style changes that to some degree lost the classic appeal of the car. The Series 2 is the best of both worlds, the vintage body style and the modern electronic fuel injection. Being the old body style the chrome bumpers from the 70's are a direct swap on. Designed by Pininfarina, (Ferrari, Maserati, etc) assembled in Grugliasco in the Province of Turin, Italy the Spider carries a distinct aesthetic, something that has fallen to the wayside in modern automobiles. The car runs and drives smoothly, a few weekends ago I took it on a ~300 mile round trip to Watkins Glen to spectate the vintage race weekend. The paint is in fine shape, the car has received regular maintenance, and all accessory functions work. Recent maintenance items include 4 tires, 12v battery, Koni adjustable rear shocks, giubo, (flex disc from transmission to driveshaft) transmission oil just changed with Redline 75w90ns, diff oil checked/topped off, spark plugs replaced with NGK Iridium IX. Convertible top and rear window are in very nice shape. It has the desirable Campagnolo aluminum 14" wheels, and even still has the Alfa valve stem caps. In terms of issues, there is a crack in the windshield along the antenna (tough to see because of antenna, reasoning why i never replaced it) small exhaust leak, I would assume it will need a clutch in the future, though it drives fine now. It does have a hiccup on occasion, if I keep it I will pull the fuel injectors over winter and have them cleaned and flow matched. Otherwise it is a very clean and nice example, I'm very sad to part with it. My only reason for sale is that I'm spread too thin at the moment, I have a number of other projects needing my attention (and money sadly). I have a 1998 BMW M3 that needs its cylinder head rebuild, and a 1973 Datsun 240z undergoing a full restoration. Will consider trades of e30 BMW M3, could include my 98 M3 in said trade. The car will come with some receipts for recent maintenance items, a color vehicle wiring diagram, the cover for the convertible top when it's folded down, and Alfa Romeo leather key fob heh.
