A great example a original survivor. This car was garaged for many years with only 62,500+ original miles. I since replaced the entire fuel system, tuned, added Bilstein shocks, tires, it comes with alloy wheels, AC , new master and slave cylinder for the clutch and runs great. Lubrication has been upgraded. Pictures speak for themselves. $11,250.00

Hello and thanks for checking out this 1989 Alfa Graduate. 40,000 or so of these things have been built and abused by students and imagined movie stars over the years. This one has led a very sheltered life. It has escaped abandonment in your uncle's yard. It has never been sentenced to years of rotting behind the shed or having been crashed and repaired by his younger brother. Instead, this example has spent its 32,000 miles in a caring family with proper care and it is evident in the condition it holds today. This car shows about as good as one of these cars can be shown. The paint is good and the mechanics are solid. It comes with (or without) some old New England maps and a collection of empty sun glass cases that once held a variety of Ray Ban and Carrera glasses fitting of the top down enjoyment the previous owner once held for this fun little Italian sports car. If you are looking for an affordable and exciting way to nurture your inner Alfisi look no further! We took this car in from a well-respected collection of cars locally on trade. It's a bit out of our wheelhouse but a fine example. We are proudly offering this Spider for $14,750. Please feel free to contact me with any stories of the time you had one of these cars 20 years ago and how it stranded you on your way to someplace important….. We are selling this car locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. This car is available to see in person. Please contact Matt Nolan at Aston Martin of New England / Lotus Motorsports 85 Linden Street Waltham MA 02452 to schedule an appointment. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

This Alfa Romeo is non-working. Engine does crank. It had a fuel leak from a hose, so I replaced all fuel hoses and fuel filter and now I cant get it started. Maybe just a fuel pump fuse blown or a pinched fuel hose, i have no idea. Also clutch fluid leak. Possible master slave cylinder issues. I just bought a 62 vw bug so need the garage space. Great project car. Body is straight, Convertible top closes tight and is in great shape. Tires are new. This is a as is, pick up only and cash only. Text me with any questions 661-699-4870

Im selling my uncles 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate. He bought this car 10-12 years ago and drove it in the first few years and parked it where it remained, seldom driven for years. It was pulled out of the garage in late summer of this year where an extensive maintenance and service was completed including: motor mounts, transmission mounts, various engine seals and every fluid and filter. The car pulls strong and shifts smoothly. This is truly a great original, low miles car that was stored and then sorted by professionals to be road worthy just a few months ago. It was never driven in rain or winter, work commuting and Sunday drives only. You will not be disappointed. All the electronics work and you can downshift without trouble. Since its been driven this year we've had zero complications. The body is rust free although some of the lower suspension components do show slight surface rust. The negatives are largely cosmetic including the top which would require replacing and the drives seat with a tear in the bottom cushion. The paint is oxidized slightly and the body does show scratches and dings which are shown in the images. The A/C is in unknown condition. Like most of these older Alfas, the odometer IS broken. The speedometer works so its the unit itself. My uncle will provide mileage details and an affidavit stating his knowledge. Please don't let this turn you away, it has been stored and seldom driven and the car is believe to have less than 40,000 miles, being extremely generous. We are in the Alfa Club and own two others as well! Again, we are good, honest people with no intent to defraud anybody. The pictures are the best we could take to provide every possible defect and I gladly welcome phone calls with questions to Scott at 614-832-4741. The car is in storage but is relatively simply accessed and we welcome pre purchase inspections for serious buyers. More pictures including under-body are available upon request.

"Unrestored" 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate For Sale is this remarkable, beautiful, super clean, "90% original" 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate. This car is not like the rest of the Alfa Spider's you see on here or anywhere else. This Alfa Romeo has been locked up and stored just about all its life. For a car that is 28 yrs old (almost 30 yrs old) it doesn't look a day over 5 or maybe 6 yrs old. There are below 58 "detailed" pictures of how clean this car is. From front to back to under and anywhere you'd like to look, this car is simply "breathtaking". The only thing far as I know since I am the 3rd owner I can say the top has been replaced along with the stock springs. It has the correct nice racing springs (receipt to back it up). I was told by the 2nd owner that the first owner told him he ordered this car with all three options. (and you could only order 3 options for the Graduate). That would make this car a fully loaded Graduate. One option was air conditioning. The second was a radio, which supposedly this car is a delete radio option car. I do not have block off plate for it though. The third was speakers, which being a delete radio car the speakers would have been deleted as well. I was told that he (the first owner) took this Alfa back to the dealership a few years after purchasing it and had them install a radio and speakers. I however do not have the paperwork on the radio delete option but I do trust the source. This Alfa is a 1987 so that means it is the "20th Anniversary car" to the movie "The Graduate" starring Dustin Hoffman. Car comes with jack and hardware, tool kit, dealership brochure, owners manual, 6 year / 60,000mile rust protection warranty booklet, maintenance program booklet, and all receipts on car including road service records. This car has never left Ohio in its life and is 98% rust free. There is one small crack in the windshield (I bought it that way) and its located on the passenger bottom corner. I didn't replace it due to "originality" and the same for the 2nd owner, and honestly its really not that noticeable. I have an estimate from a local glass shop (was just curious) , and I have already took the cost out from my asking price for the damage. The passenger seat does have a rip in it the size of a quarter and has been patched. Other then that, that's the only thing I can see that this car needs. It does have a few very very little dings but once again its a 30 yr old car. If the windshield, the seat, or a very very little ding is the only thing keeping you from buying this car then your missing the whole point, this car is not a new car, its almost 30 yrs old, that's the amazing part. Spider has 88,410 highway miles. Does have a Ameritech car phone that works like new (can't get service on it, I tried, bummer right?) The neighbor kids asked me how do you text on it lol, right? NADA Value of $16,065 High Retail Value (with only air conditioning option) This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a '100 Point' or '# 1' vehicle *. * '100 Point' or '# 1' vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concours judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate-regulated facility. Go to : http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1987/Alfa-Romeo/Spider/Graduate-2-Door-Convertible/Values Okay, Well this car is considered a trailer queen and is on a 100 point scale system to be judged at a show, also it has full documents so price should be in the $20K range. We (my family) and I have talked about it and have lowered the price to $17,500. Its time to find another home for our Alfa that it will be taken care of as much as we have taken good care of it. FYI : the picture of the reflection in the trunk paint, towards the bottom, that is not a scratch, its an airplane con-trail in the sky. If you download that pix and flip it, you'll see. Overall, I have took this car to car shows and it always turns heads. People have said to me, "man, you did a good job restoring it". I always say, "its original, I didn't restore it". The appreciation from that person really shines when they find out its not restored, they just can't get over a car from Ohio not destroyed by salt, or owner neglect. The car itself is just spectacular for its age, and the craftsmanship is just mind blowing. The Italians are known for building wonderful cars and that's what this is. The time period styling and the luxury of this car is still in style today. This car is a head-turner, from people seeing that "Pininfarina" badge or people thinking about Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate" and looking for Mrs. Robinson. Just seeing one look at these pictures and you can tell, it's like walking into a time capsule. You will remember just how many years have really gone by... PLEASE BID IF YOU INTEND TO BUY!!! PRIOR BIDDER (dica_win_t36zqo ) STATES HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW THE BID OCCURRED!!!!!!!!!!! This is a nice Alfa Spider which was fully repainted one year ago. Quality of the paint is good, not show car quality. Has a new radio and speaker installed last year. Car has no known mechanical issues, drives well. Seats are worn on drivers side. Tires have good tread. Call me with any questions at 516-395-5123. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 72 hours. No warranty on purchase. Mechanics:Starts, runs, and drives excellent with a steady idle and lots of power throughout the entire RPM range. Clutch is new and feels great, as does the transmission which shifts smoothly and precisely up & down throughout all 5 gears and into reverse. Brakes are good. It is a very reliable little sports car that I would not hesitate to take anywhere. All maintenance is up to date and the car needs nothing mechanically — Oil change was done less than 1000 miles ago. Cosmetics:It has a rich black paint, and as stated above, was repainted last year, It does have some superficial swirl marks and small scratches from driving. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. The convertible soft top is cosmetically excellent with no rips or tears with the rear plastic window is new. It goes up & down with ease and locks tightly. The dashboard has a small crack. Drivers seat with tear and passenger seat with small rip. Seats need to be changed. Carpet in good condition, but is faded. Interior does need some TLC to make it look nice. Electrics:The ignition system operates as it should with no problems. All lights, inside & out, work as they should. There are no warning lights or check-engine lights on the dash cluster. Has manual windows. Radio and speakers work great and the power antenna goes does not go up.

This auction is for my 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate with 44,900 actual miles. It is red with a black leather interior. It has had only a couple of previous owners before me and has obviously been stored inside and well cared for. There are quite a few Alfa Spiders out there but if you are looking for an original, unmolested, unrusted and unrepaired example, this deserves a close look. When I purchased the car it was in phenomenal condition. I researched the car online and found some pictures and articles where the car had been shown at car shows, with trophies that it had won. The paint is shiny and clean with only the smallest bit of road rash on the nose. See the pictures, you have to look close to see it. The bumpers are original and show little or no sign of any impact damage. I jacked the car up and crawled around underneath it and was amazed at the absence of rust or damage on the undercarriage. I had the interior out and the trunk as well, finding no rust anywhere, or previous repair. The exterior paint is all original as far as I can tell. The sills are original and as solid as new, as well as the door bottoms. To protect this very rare unrusted example I rustproofed the entire car with Waxoyl, a very effective rustproofing treatment from the UK. The wheel wells have been cleaned and rustproofed as well. The insulation under the carpet is as solid and original as the day the car was manufactured. The carpet was faded and a horrible shade of brown. The seats were just about perfect but were the original tan and vinyl as this was standard in the Graduate model. The replacements are original pattern black Italian leather from International Auto. The dash is solid and original, no cracks or damage. I spent the next year going through it to bring everything up to as close to new condition as possible. I replaced the following items:New tires" wheels" shocks front and back" brakes including rotors and pads front and back and calipers in front." front wheel bearings and seals" sparkplugs, filters and engine oil" changed transmission and rear differential fluid, replaced with Redline synthetic" new Interstate batteryThe interior was actually in very good condition other than the carpet. The dash and gauges are perfect, no cracks or damage. The floors under the carpet were dry and clean, no sign of rust or repair ever! I did not however care for the tan vinyl seat upholstery, even though it had no tears or rips (I still have them) so in the interior I replaced:New Italian leather seat upholstery as well as bottom seat foam." carpet set front and trunk" door seals and door panels" Nardi wooden steering wheel and shift knob" leather brake boot and shift bootOverall, a very nice example of an icon in the Sports car world. Oh yes, the top is the original I believe and in mint condition. The back window is clear all of the glass is original Alfa Romeo glass installed at the factory. The doors shut perfectly including the hood and trunk and all gaps are as from the factory. The car starts and drives perfectly, clutch feels strong, steering is tight. Please email me with any questions, or call if you like. Please don't bid unless you are able to buy, the car is going to sell. No warranty either expressed or implied. Check my feedback and buy with confidence.

For sale is a really nice 1986 Alfa Romeo Graduate. This 2-door, 5-speed convertible is on the road running and was inspected a couple of months ago. It turns heads every time I take it out! It's got just over 58,000 original miles and rides like a dream! If you're looking at this ad, you probably know a thing or two about Alfas already and you're looking for the story on this particular Alfa. Here's the deal: My uncle has been restoring cars for years and years. He's mostly done MG's and he has a stunning Morris that he's won at lots of car shows with. But this Alfa was like his baby for many years. Lots of other cars came and went -- but he held onto this one as it was reliable, fun to drive, and got a lot of attention. Anything that was done to the car was done right -- he was very picky about where he got parts and in trying to keep the car as true to original as possible. That said, the car was a project when he found it. The original color was white, but he wanted it red, so the car was painted. However, he was careful to get the paint codes and get the car painted in the proper color that was available in the year it was made. He took it apart piece by piece to have it painted properly. Most people looking at it would never know that red wasn't the original color. As the car was originally white, the wheels were red. He felt like that was too much, so he painted the wheels black. The interior of the car is in excellent condition for the age. There isn't a rip or tear in either seat. The carpet is good and the interior plastics are all intact and looking great. The stereo is not original and there are two wires running to a box with speakers behind the seats, but this could obviously be changed. The car starts immediately every time and runs great. The top is relatively new and in good condition. The rear window isn't very clear, but that's the case on almost any convertible top. It's a joy to drive -- it handles well, stops like it should, and always gets a smile. The "bad" with this car (if you could call it that): 1) There is minor bubbling starting on the front fender as shown in the picture. I've kept the car garaged and he did also, so it's still in pretty good condition, but it's worth noting. 2) There is a little bit of scratching on the back of the car behind the top from a hard top that my uncle had installed on the car. There are also a couple of rock chips on the hood. I've taken close ups of the 3 noticeable rock chips on the front hood. There is also a small (less than half an inch) white scratch on one fender. I'm being particular -- the car is 28 years old and overall looks better than the much newer vehicles I drive on a daily basis. 3) The blower operates, but it's very loud. I don't drive it in the winter and in the summer I keep the top down, so I haven't been worried about it. 4) On a recent drive, I noticed that the top is a little noisy. I don't know if that's just the fact that I hadn't driven it with the top up in so long or if something needs to be adjusted. Like I said, the top is in terrific condition -- no rips or tears. Perhaps it just needs a small adjustment. Perhaps it's nothing at all -- again, I'm trying to be thorough. 5) The speedometer isn't going all the way down to 0. It sticks around 12mph when you slow down (as seen in the picture). As soon as you get over that point, it records speed accurately. It also records miles accurately on the odometer -- I've checked. I've not looked into this at all because I don't really need to know whether I'm going 4mph or 10mph. As long as it shows my speed when I'm out on the road (and it does), that's all that has mattered to me. 6) The original locks had to be replaced -- I can't recall why my uncle said they had to be replaced. At any rate, there is a separate key for the doors from the ignition key. I obviously have both and copies. 7) The clock doesn't operate. It glows green, but does not change. Apart from those things, this car is a great vehicle. It is stored in the garage right now and is available for an inspection/test drive at your leisure -- there is almost always someone at the house available even if I'm not available at the exact time you'd like to look at it. We can make it work. Note that while this car has treated me very well, it is 28 years old and is for sale AS-IS, WHERE-IS -- with no warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car wherever I needed to go. I've had it on the road for as much as 3 hours at a time with no issues. My uncle had the car for many years and told me that it never once left him on the side of the road. But again -- I can't guarantee anything on a car of this age. Note that the miles are current as of this listing, but the car is still on the road. I don't generally drive it at this time of year, but it is possible for the mileage to increase a small amount. The New York State title is clear. I make a strong effort to describe every item I sell as accurately as possible -- a fact that I think is reflected in my 100% positive feedback everywhere I sell. I have sold several vehicles here on Ebay and never had an unhappy buyer -- I've never had a negative comment from anyone. That said, this is a used vehicle. I strongly encourage any buyer to come take a look before buying. As mentioned, I can accommodate a viewing/test drive almost any day of the week. Upon purchase agreement, a $500 deposit is due within 24 hours. The balance is due within 7 days after that via cash, cashier's check, or money order. You can pick up the car at your leisure -- it can sit in my garage as long as you need it to, but payment must be made within 7 days regardless of your pick up / shipping arrangements. Speaking of shipping, I am more than willing to assist in loading the car if you're having it shipped -- but all shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer. Furthermore, if you come in person to pick up the car and find that it is not as described / change your mind for any reason, I will be happy to cancel the sale and refund your deposit. I will not change the agreed upon price. Once the car has left my house, the sale is final. I am happy to provide more pictures of anything you need -- please don't hesitate to ask. Please ask any questions prior to buying/making an offer. The NADA Guides high retail on this car is $13,500 and climbing each year. Average retail is $8,850. I'm pricing it at $7900 OBO. If you continue to take care of this car, it's value will only rise over time. It is a fantastic automobile that is a joy to drive. Thanks for looking!
