Up for auction is my wifes 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio. The Quadrifoglio was the top-of-the-line Spider at the time, featuring specially designed leather seats, alloy wheels, air conditioning, redesigned front spoiler, side skirts and canvas top. The car runs and drives great. The engine was completely rebuilt about 5000 miles ago ( parts invoices alone where nearly $2300 ) and the clutch was replaced at that time as well. This is a low mileage car with only 77,010 on the odometer. The car sports a like new canvas soft top, hard top and top cover. I also have the original window sticker and dealer prep sticker showing car sold for just under $24,000 when knew ( which was a ton of money back then ). You're looking at a 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce with slightly more than 80,000 milesI've been using it as a daily driver for the past 2 years and finally saved up enough for another car, unfortunately I don't need it anymore and don't have a garage to store it in so I'd like to find it a caring home.It's in fantastic mechanical condition, it has upgraded suspension, headers, a brand new convertible top, and as I said it makes a great daily driver.It just passed a state inspection last week.Cosmetically it could use a little work though.the paint is starting to show its age, the hood and trunk show the worst of the worn paint.however, there is very little rust. the only major rust is on the bottom below the doors on both sides, and the front lower valence has a couple spots ranging from 3-10"there's also a few rust spots on the mirrors, but the frame is rust freeits never been in an accident and I can provide it's ownership location/history for serious inquiries.Everyone at one point in their life needs to own an Alfa Romeoand this is your chance. don't hesitate to ask any questions
