The car is very correct and original, and is currently registered in CT. The car was originally sold to NSU in Werk, Germany on December 2, 1959. the car is in excellent mechanical condition, and is in excellent “driver quality” condition. She would make an excellent candidate for a full restoration or, she could just be maintained and driven just as she is. The body is very straight, and the red paint looks good. All of the exterior trim and bright-work is original and in nice condition. If the car has a weak point, it would be in the RED paint; though shiny and nice, there is checking on almost every panel. The interior has an excellent patina, with her correct original black sport seats, and red carpets in a condition befitting her age. The engine is the venerable 1290cc 4-cylinder Alfa motor, built to correct original specification. She still retains her original single Solex Carburettor setup. The engine is very well sorted, and puts out good power and torque. The underside is excellent, as new floors were just installed. The exhaust system is in excellent condition The car has her correct 4-wheel finned Aluminum drum brakes, the linings are new, as are the hydraulics; the car stops with authority. The 5-speed transmission shifts well, the clutch is new. Her steel wheels are shod with new Khumo radial tires. The car is mechanically excellent and is a blast to drive!!! She corners well, brakes as she should and the suspension and steering offers great feedback and control. The epitome of late 50’s sports car experience. Quality of the paint is good, not show car quality. Has a new radio and speaker installed last year. Car has no known mechanical issues, drives well. Seats are worn on drivers side. Tires have good tread. Call me with any questions at 516-395-5123. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 72 hours. No warranty on purchase. Mechanics:Starts, runs, and drives excellent with a steady idle and lots of power throughout the entire RPM range. Clutch is new and feels great, as does the transmission which shifts smoothly and precisely up & down throughout all 5 gears and into reverse. Brakes are good. It is a very reliable little sports car that I would not hesitate to take anywhere. All maintenance is up to date and the car needs nothing mechanically — Oil change was done less than 1000 miles ago. Cosmetics:It has a rich black paint, and as stated above, was repainted last year, It does have some superficial swirl marks and small scratches from driving. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. The convertible soft top is cosmetically excellent with no rips or tears with the rear plastic window is new. It goes up & down with ease and locks tightly. The dashboard has a small crack. Drivers seat with tear and passenger seat with small rip. Seats need to be changed. Carpet in good condition, but is faded. Interior does need some TLC to make it look nice. Electrics:The ignition system operates as it should with no problems. All lights, inside & out, work as they should. There are no warning lights or check-engine lights on the dash cluster. Has manual windows. Radio and speakers work great and the power antenna goes does not go up.

1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Spyder According to the factory Alfa Romeo documentation files, Chassis number AR 390529 originally corresponds to Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Veloce (101.18), Engine series AR 00121, Manufactured on the 12th April 1965 Sold on the 20th April 1965 to Alfa Romeo Inc. USA, Newark. The body colour is red with black interior. It is a really nice original car for restoration. These Veloce's are a joy to drive. Note: we have all the hubcaps.
