You are not a real car guy until you own an Alfa. So says Jeremy Clarkson, et al of Grand Tour. Yes it is everything it is cracked up to be. Fun sporty convertible all ready for the soon to be here summer. I love (yes love love love) this color combination of white over red with red top. It looks amazing in person as it does in the pictures. This is one of the last Alfas brought into the US before the return of Alfa last year. This is a very good example with 68K original miles and clean accident free Carfax. It is loaded with plenty of creature comforts such as air (yet but why is that needed? Its a convertible remember!), heat, power windows and door locks. All seem to work, though windows are a little slow. The interior is in good shape overall, but there are some dash cracks. Exterior is nice white paint, though looks to have been repainted. I would call it an excellent 5 footer, but there are some minor imperfections. Interior is overall good. Gas opener sticks often, trunk opener needs to be pushed back in to close, speedo cable just broke, leaks a few drops of oil after running, rear window is starting to fray from the top. These all would be huge issues if it was a Honda or Toyota, but its called the character of an Alfa. Throw the top back, slip on the RayBans, and enjoy the monza style exhaust hum in the background. I have enjoyed it, but I am not the smallest of individuals, so wanting something with a little more room.

1976 Alfa Spider. 87,000 Original miles. Car was painted and parked in garage 10+ years ago and not moved. Runs and drives great. Just got it out for the first time in 10+ years. Fuel system was drained when it was parked, so replaced fuel pump and hoses from tank also all filters to get it started. Changed transmission and differential fluids, also clutch and brake fluids Spent $1600.00 at Alfa West in Denver to replace all that was needed. New oil change. Replaced plugs and tuned up. All fluids, belts and cables replaced. New Battery, All bulbs and fuses replaced so lights work New Radiator hoses and coolant New throttle cable. New spare and tire in trunk. Also has jack and tool kit. Top in great shape no tears. No cracks in back window. Leather interior is not torn but has surface cracks in seats from sitting for so long (see pics) No rust, great paint on the car. Hello and thanks for checking out this 1989 Alfa Graduate. 40,000 or so of these things have been built and abused by students and imagined movie stars over the years. This one has led a very sheltered life. It has escaped abandonment in your uncle's yard. It has never been sentenced to years of rotting behind the shed or having been crashed and repaired by his younger brother. Instead, this example has spent its 32,000 miles in a caring family with proper care and it is evident in the condition it holds today. This car shows about as good as one of these cars can be shown. The paint is good and the mechanics are solid. It comes with (or without) some old New England maps and a collection of empty sun glass cases that once held a variety of Ray Ban and Carrera glasses fitting of the top down enjoyment the previous owner once held for this fun little Italian sports car. You either understand Alfa-Romeos or you don't. Cars like this 1984 Spider Veloce don't make a lot of sense to our rational minds, but slide behind the wheel and it whispers seductively in fluent Italian and suddenly you find yourself running it through the gears just for the sheer joy of the sound and the feel of a machine acting as your dance partner. It also helps that it's good looking. Sportier than an MG and undeniably Italian, this Alfa is the entry-level two-seater for the guy who knows the real thing when he sees it. Every manufacturer has built a two-seat roadster, it seems, but few can do it better than the Italians. It starts with great body lines, and the Spider Veloce, which endured for decades virtually unchanged, shows off a lot of flair in a compact package. The paint is not original but in decent condition for it's age with only a few BLEMISHES of use and wear, which is fitting on a car that's designed to be the ultimate dance partner. Panel fit is quite good given the era and the hand-built nature of the car, and the shape works just fine without the body add-ons that would come a few years later. Simple, elegant, and extremely sporty, it shows off the little things that the Italians do so well. Note the neat little flush-fitting door handles, the exhaust pipe that's almost (but not quite!) centered under the rear bumper, and, of course, that Alfa grille standing proud up front, neatly integrated into the bumper assembly. The special Italian touch extends to the interior, where even this bargain-priced roadster gets two-tone buckets that wear newer seat covers. A wood-rimmed wheel adds to the interior's ambience. Beautiful Jaeger instruments in a pair of hoods jutting out of the dash show off the simplicity that has long been a hallmark of Italian automotive design, with the secondary instruments slightly canted towards the driver. The ventilation system is typical Italian, with controls that are hard to decipher, but that's really all part of the charm in a car like this, although the A/C seems to need a recharge. There's also a newer AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit that was installed many years ago and probably due for an upgrade today. The trunk is actually well-shaped and spacious enough to hold luggage for two, and a black canvas convertible top fits neatly. The rorty 2-liter engine sings to life with gusto and loves to rev, and with a glorious sound from the new muffler out back, you'll be looking for reasons to drop a gear or two and pin the throttle. Aluminum cam covers are a traditional Alfa look, and the fuel injection system has that instant throttle response that makes these cars such a joy to drive. And contrary to what you may have heard, these tough little Italian sports cars are actually reliable and sturdy, perfect for having fun without the worries. The 5-speed manual gearbox snicks through the gears thanks to a new clutch and the suspension has a great combination of control and supple body movements, so the car is all-day comfortable. Four-wheel discs live behind stylish 5-spoke alloys carrying 195/65/14 blackwall radials. Fun and stylish, this bargain-priced exotic is a great entry-level Italian. Sure, it needs a little TLC from it's new owner to make it the ultimate driving machine, but for this price, you get a genuine Alfa Romeo that gives you a real taste of pure sports car magic.

This Alfa Romeo is non-working. Engine does crank. It had a fuel leak from a hose, so I replaced all fuel hoses and fuel filter and now I cant get it started. Maybe just a fuel pump fuse blown or a pinched fuel hose, i have no idea. Also clutch fluid leak. Possible master slave cylinder issues. I just bought a 62 vw bug so need the garage space. Im selling my uncles 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate. He bought this car 10-12 years ago and drove it in the first few years and parked it where it remained, seldom driven for years. It was pulled out of the garage in late summer of this year where an extensive maintenance and service was completed including: motor mounts, transmission mounts, various engine seals and every fluid and filter. The car pulls strong and shifts smoothly. This is truly a great original, low miles car that was stored and then sorted by professionals to be road worthy just a few months ago. It was never driven in rain or winter, work commuting and Sunday drives only. You will not be disappointed. All the electronics work and you can downshift without trouble. Since its been driven this year we've had zero complications. The body is rust free although some of the lower suspension components do show slight surface rust. The negatives are largely cosmetic including the top which would require replacing and the drives seat with a tear in the bottom cushion. The paint is oxidized slightly and the body does show scratches and dings which are shown in the images. The A/C is in unknown condition. Like most of these older Alfas, the odometer IS broken. The speedometer works so its the unit itself. My uncle will provide mileage details and an affidavit stating his knowledge. Please don't let this turn you away, it has been stored and seldom driven and the car is believe to have less than 40,000 miles, being extremely generous. We are in the Alfa Club and own two others as well! Again, we are good, honest people with no intent to defraud anybody.
