This car was driven sparingly from 1960-1971 then was parked in a dry West Texas garage. It has 27,249 actual miles. Very solid, straight, complete and correct. We have very detailed pictures posted here, minor rust in spare tire well, minor rust in rear floor, some minor bubbling in lower rear doglegs. This has to be one of the best originals in existence. The lacquer paint is heavily checked; the interior is all original and survivor quality. Original jack, spare, tool kit (almost complete missing pliers and screwdriver). Original owners manual kit. The engine turns over freely it is not stuck. We have not attempted to get it running. We believe that a fuel system clean/rebuild and hydraulics this car would run and drive. All 5 tires match but would not be safe to drive on. The car appears to be correct and complete with exception of passenger front fog light lense, this was the actual reason the car was parked. A new lense could not be located. It is a numbers matching car with all build/ID tags still on the car. Other Italian Spiders of this vintage are now unobtainable due to sky rocketing values. There are 2 recent sales of 2000 spiders in the $150k range and many experts feel that these are way under valued. Engine number is AR00204*00109 clearly pictured here Carosservice Touring NO. is 5428Autotelaio No. (chassis body#) is AR1020400169The car is titled under this number clear Texas title. The inspection sticker is Texas from 1970 and the Texas license plates are 1971, these are original to this car. The windshield is cracked on the passenger side. The soft top bows are complete. This is a great find with multiple options. Service mechanically and have an honest original numbers matching car that has been stored for 44 years or it is an excellent basis for a restoration. This car was driven sparingly from 1960-1971 then was parked in a dry West Texas garage. It has 27,249 actual miles. Very solid, straight, complete and correct. We have very detailed pictures posted here, minor rust in spare tire well, minor rust in rear floor, some minor bubbling in lower rear doglegs. This has to be one of the best originals in existence. The lacquer paint is heavily checked; the interior is all original and survivor quality. Original jack, spare, tool kit (almost complete missing pliers and screwdriver). Original owners manual kit. The engine turns over freely it is not stuck. We have not attempted to get it running. We believe that a fuel system clean/rebuild and hydraulics this car would run and drive. All 5 tires match but would not be safe to drive on. The car appears to be correct and complete with exception of passenger front fog light lense, this was the actual reason the car was parked. A new lense could not be located. It is a numbers matching car with all build/ID tags still on the car. Other Italian Spiders of this vintage are now unobtainable due to sky rocketing values. There are 2 recent sales of 2000 spiders in the $150k range and many experts feel that these are way under valued. Stored for many years with fuel bottle fed directly to carburetor. New battery and new distributor, original Magneti Marelli distributor comes with the car. We could not find a replacement distributor cap, this is the reason the prior owner parked the car. Also includes factory shop manual.The engine starts easily, no smoking or knocking, 55-60 PSI oil pressure. We also flushed radiator and put in fresh antifreeze so the car can be shipped worldwide. Please watch the video of the engine starting, running and oil pressure gauge. U.S. car engine number located on intake side of engine is AR00526*23805* Body number stamped on passenger side firewall is AR170322 Alfa Romeo tag on firewall reads Giulietta Spider Type 10103. Odometer shows 61,880 and is believed to be actual. This is a very solid dry car with rust confined to passenger side rocker panel and lower front fender; floors are very solid including trunk floor. Please view all 87 detailed pictures. This will be an easy restoration or service hydraulics and drive with patina. We have not serviced the clutch or brake hydraulics. The engine is sound, plan on a fuel system cleaning and valve cover gasket at minimum. This car is titled as a 1963 but from several replies it may have been built in 1960 please do your own research. The number on the title matches the car. There are two extra blocks that go with the deal 1st engine number is AR1315*40367* 2nd is AR00536*16155* if you have a source to decode these please send us a response and we will post in this auction. Stored for many years with fuel bottle fed directly to carburetor. New battery and new distributor, original Magneti Marelli distributor comes with the car. We could not find a replacement distributor cap, this is the reason the prior owner parked the car. Also includes factory shop manual. The engine starts easily, no smoking or knocking, 55-60 PSI oil pressure. We also flushed radiator and put in fresh antifreeze so the car can be shipped worldwide. U.S. car engine number located on intake side of engine is AR00526*23805* Body number stamped on passenger side firewall is AR170322 Alfa Romeo tag on firewall reads Giulietta Spider Type 10103. Odometer shows 61,880 and is believed to be actual. This is a very solid dry car with rust confined to passenger side rocker panel and lower front fender; floors are very solid including trunk floor. Please view all 87 detailed pictures. This will be an easy restoration or service hydraulics and drive with patina. We have not serviced the clutch or brake hydraulics. The engine is sound, plan on a fuel system cleaning and valve cover gasket at minimum. This car is titled as a 1963 but from several replies it may have been built in 1960 please do your own research. The number on the title matches the car.
