This is a fun car !!!!!! runs really well has a few paint imperfections but no rust always starts ... Have fun and enjoy the sun in style ..smooth manual transmission..beautiful motor without any misses just a smooth driving sports car with style.. Aircondition has been filled but seems to have new compressor that has 2 cables coming out and they are not connected. Car needs a little TLC a good buff and polish and you have one amazing Alfa convertible (roof is ok has no rips or tears)

Fun - Summer Time Car - "nothing says summer like an Italian Convertible"Selling my 1987 Alfa Romeo --- don't be afraid to "Make Me an Offer"!!!! I love the black Quadrifoglio's with the gray leather and contrasting red carpeting. My 1987 Alfa will need minor mechanical attention as well as some cosmetic attention.The engine is excellent and strong with excellent compression. The car runs and drives wonderfully in all respects. Just as you would expect with a 45k mile car however the exhaust manifold has a leak. This Quad comes complete with the original factory hardtop, original keys, owners manual, warranty book and Tool Kit. It wears all its original black paint from the factory. HOWEVER it does appear that there was cheap paintwork performed years ago. There are small dents, scratches and chips on most all panels but it would require minimal prep work for a proper repaint. It also has its original matching Quadrifoglio Pininfarina Hardtop, Paint is peeling on Hardtop and it will need repaint (see photos) a special design for this top-of-the-line model that had a $22,500 MSRP!!The sporty interior is all original. The original gray leather seats are in OK condition (see photos) and may be used as is for many years. The drivers seat and passenger seat is a little dry and both have a seam split. Door cards will need to be fastened to the door -- the clips that hold them are loose. The original carpeting is in very nice condition both in the passenger area, the storage area behind the seats and in the trunk. We love the bright red carpeting! It looks stunning in the otherwise conservative black and gray color scheme. The dash pad has one small crack, (see photos) The soft top will need replacement - it is deteriorated but attached to the bows.Rear Trunk Badge is there but wil need to be replaced - faded out. The stereo, horn, blinkers and emergency lights are not presently functioning. The air conditioning is working however it is not blowing cold however the A/C fan works. Wipers -- headlights -- Park Lights all work. The original Alfa stereo and cassette player is not powered up and we believe the power antenna also is non-operational. The tires are in ok condition - thread life looks good. The larger but lighter weight 15 inch Quadrifoglio wheels are unique for this model and are in good condition.The brakes and handling of the car are fine. There are no squeaks and rattles. Tires are in OK condition --- they look average - however while the size of the tires are all the same the make of the tires are as follows --- rear tires are Pirelli and Dunlop on the front. My overall opinion of the car is that it runs - drives - stops - shifts through all gears fine but needs to be sorted out --- if you have mechanical ability / Body Shop ability you can fix this solid Alfa up and enjoy it for years to come.
