Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce "CE." While ads proclaiming "rare" Alfas are often seen, this is the real deal. In classic red, it is #107 of 190 Battista Pininfarina designed Spider Veloce Commemorative Edition cars, the last production run of the classic Spiders. With only 38,574 miles, this car has been pampered and maintained to the highest standards. (For a good portion of it's life, it was maintained by long-time Alfa expert Ric Lovecchio of RML Automotive). RML installed a new, great-fitting top last year and did it right. It has four new Falken tires with less than 500 miles on them and a year-old Interstate battery. The paint shines even brighter than the pictures show and it's original tan leather interior is in great condition and comes with a matching "parade boot". I had a Pioneer WMA/MP3 HD Radio meticulously installed without any alteration of the original radio slot, even the new speakers were customized to fit the original grills. I still have the original Alfa Romeo stereo, speakers, and original CE trunk-mounted 12 CD player which also come with the car. You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner Alfa anywhere. Perhaps most important, there aren't many cars more fun to drive, enjoy and experience This "CE" comes with it's unique commemorative 107 of 190 numbered plaque on the dash, special badging, burl wood trim and shifter knob, a leather manual portfolio, 15" phone dial wheels (five, including the matching wheel on the spare tire), and a letter of congratulations and Certificate of Authenticity signed by CEO Giovanni Gagliano. I have an Alfa key ring but it is NOT the numbered commemorative key ring. Original a no rain, no snow slight rust car with small bubbles btm back window and dime sized rust hole on 1 rear marker light, no rust floor, the body was completed stripped, restored and refinished, the one hole fixed with metal, finished in 4 coats Argento Silver, and 2 coats clear-coat. The original interior, while in pristine condition, was replaced with full Sabbia tan leather, matching perforated inserts on seats, head-rests and door sections. All artful interior work was done by LA Trim in Lowell, MI. Original air conditioning works as does all mechanically refurbished. AM/FM/CD SAT radio installed with un-seen hidden antennae. The original Campagnolo alloy wheels were media blasted when the body was to a reconditioned, like-new finish, fitted with new P4 Pirelli. Most of the photos were from recent West Mich Alfa Romeo Owners Beach-Grill Out on the shores of Lk. Very nice 1984 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider 2.0. 87K+ .This is the upscale model from the graduate model. Veloce’s have factory air, electric windows and electric mirrors. The dash has no cracks; the carpets, etc. are in excellent condition. It drives straight with no vibration. Air conditioning works, but needs coolant (I never needed to use it). Southern car will little rust. Great summer time top down fun. Don’t miss a chance to own a nice Alfa. Because of its age, I’m selling as-is, where is, but as stated-it is in excellent condition. I do drive this every weekend, so mileage will change. Very dependable daily driver or take for long distance drives. I would not be afraid to recommend that you could drive anywhere. With just over 124k total cars produced in the series, these are becoming more collectible with each year that goes by. Powered by a spirited 4cyl 2000, that was capable of cranking out 131HP marked these as fierce competitors in the European sport/touring market. The stylish lines that could only be achieved by the Italian designers along with the sexy curves, gave many Americans seeking these for their weekend cruisers. Delivered new out of Grand Prix Motors in Seattle, WA to a gentleman from the local area in June of 1978. The car is believed to have spent its entire life in that region till 2012 where it was sold to an Alfa enthusiast out of California where he took the next 2+ years restoring the car and to bring it back to its original glory. Engine, transmission, electronics, seats, door panels, convertible top, wheels, tires, carpet, and much more were replaced, fixed or rebuilt.
