This is my 1973 Alfa 2000 GTV. I purchased it last year from Georgia and along with my 1989 BMW 325iX I am now offering it for sale to make room for another car which I have always wanted and think can finally make a reality. I searched for three months and found this GTV: the best rust-free example of a “driver” – that is, it is not a show car or, more importantly, priced that way, but does look great and drives well. I have listed the major points about the car and work that has been performed below. · The car is a US-spec 2000 GTV. · It was professionally converted from the SPICA fuel-injection to the Alfa rest of the world spec carbureted system in 2005 by the previous owner, who acquired the car that year and had the conversion performed. The conversion is as per the Alfa factory set-up including: o Correct Weber Carbs (made in Italy) o Proper Intake Manifold o Billet Support Strut and crank o Low-Pressure Fuel Pump o Correct Alfa Throttle Linkages o Correct Throttle Pedal o The air filters are obviously not Alfa branded but these are practically "consumables" that can be changed easily. · The 5-speed manual transmission shifts very well with no issues in 2nd or any other gear. · The exhaust is a free flowing ANSA unit with no leaks or rattles. · The car has air-conditioning from the factory and this has been converted to R-134a and works well. It performed well in the Georgia heat and humidity as well as the admittedly lower heat but similar humidity in the Boston area this past summer. The battery is located in the trunk as per the AC equipped GTVs. · The body is in very good shape with no rust. I have included photos from underneath as well as the rockers and other susceptible areas. · Car rides on 15” Cromodora wheels with new tires. Spare set of ATS wheels come with the car. · Unfortunately, I do not have the original Alfa steering wheel – it has a Gritti wooden wheel fitted. · Interior is in very good shape for the most part – the admittedly ugly 1980s era stereo disrupts the dash. o Seat upholstery is excellent. o Headliner is great. o Dash has no cracks and is not warped or faded. o Carpets are clean and in good shape. o Hazard lights do not work but all other lights including Euro style fogs do operate correctly. o Heat works correctly. o Factory AC works great. o Gauge cluster has been replaced with the correct cluster from another 2000 GTV. The odometer reads 3625 miles and works properly. The original cluster comes with the car and reads 76K miles. Gauges are the correct Jaeger units as you can see in the photos. o Fuel gauge does not work – I use the trip meter like on a motorcycle. · Service/work performed since acquiring the car in summer 2016: o Tune-up: new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and pick-up. o Oil and filter service. o Coolant flush and replacement. o Replaced oil pressure switch. o New tie-rods (all) and front wheel bearings. o Brakes – new calipers all around, along with rotors and pads, booster hose, and fluid after flushing. o Refreshed differential oil. o New stabilizer bushings. o New steering idler. o Replaced all gas lines from the pump onward for safety. o Tightened the motor mounts. o Cleaned air filters. o Checked compression – all cylinders within 8%. · Car has the original spare and jack, along with owner’s manual and toolkit. · It runs at correct temperature even with the AC on. · Oil pressure gauge works and pressure remains in correct range. · Spare set of ATS wheels come with the car. The little Alfa drives very well, is responsive, handles as it should and stops great thanks to the completely new brakes. I would not have a problem driving this car anywhere, other than the obvious potential shortcomings of a 45-year-old car. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Thank you.

This GTV only has 3000 miles since its restoration. When Tim bought this car seven years ago, this is what was done: “Complete restoration done by an Engineer who started with an all original and never molested original car. Every suspension bushing, joint, bearing throughout the entire car was replaced. All components cleaned and painted or powder coated prior to reassembly. All new suspension is all adjustable, centerline springs, etc. Undercarriage is rust free and was cleaned and re-undercoated. All new rubber and seals, new window felts and channels. new speckled grey carpet kit, original dash without cracks, original wood, new speedo and tach cables, entirely new european taillight assemblies, original spare with jack, AR501 red paint, new period Daytonas and Yoko 205’s, original AM/FM push button radio that works. Original 1750 that was rebuilt with Steve Hanniford head work (stage 5 includes intake manifold port machining), assembled with all new components (valves, HP Springs, followers, retainers, reliefs, Ingram HP FI pump (165-170hp), new fuel pump, throttle bodies rebuilt, new exhaust OEM with hangers, original exhaust manifolds ceramic coated, all SS hardware for reassembly, all recip components carefully hand balanced to 0.1 gram static, revs willingly to 7000 where the cams peak), flywheel machined to 15lbs (more to relieve stress risers in casting then weight), new pistons/liners (hastings rings, effective CR 10:1, stk 9.75 plus 10 mils off the head for a quarter point), flowed oil pump (meaning the oil pump intake was carefully shaped), all new chains, Ingram prepped 1750 rods (relieved, peened, bushed, new bolts and big nuts), all engine work done at Wes Ingram’s shop, compression delta P across all cylinders is 1 pound! recurved electronic Bosch with MSD multi-spark, entire cooling system with custom 3 row core adapted to original tanks, thermostatically controlled fan. I have a 1979 Alfetta Sprint Veloce with 55,000 original miles and no rust. Always garaged and in very nice condition. Car was repainted by previous owner in original ivory, and still looks very sharp & glossy. Other than that, the car is completely original including the tan cloth interior, with wood steering wheel & shifter in perfect condition. Here is what's been done recently: In the past 2500 miles: rebuilt engine, with new water, fuel, and vacuum hoses; new drive line flex joints; new brake calipers, pads, rear rotors & rebuilt master cylinder; new clutch slave cylinder & rebuilt master; new lower ball joints; new motor mounts and front transmission mounts; new fuel filters and fuel pressure switch. In the past 1,000 miles: new battery, new tires, added period Momo wheels; new thermostatic actuator; new ignition coil; new (rebuilt) alternator & all belts, new wiper arms, NOS rear exhaust, new front rotors & pads Jobs that I never got to (but I have the parts for): new suspension bushings and NOS Alfa front & rear shocks; replace front quarter window winders (I have replacements) The not-so-great:Car idles rough until warmed up (typical), drips a bit of oil (typical) and runs rich, so will need a tune-up. Factory AC blows, but not cold. Suspension is a bit soft, hence all the new - but not yet installed - suspension parts. My Alfetta is a very nice driver, Not concourse, but I'd rate it a 8 out of 10 (exterior), 7 out of 10 (interior) and a 6 out of 10 (mechanically), based on everything above. Asking $5500
