All of the drive train was gone through and refreshed at that time which consisted of: engine, differential, clutch and steering box (factory power steering). The entire body was stripped down, the windows and trim were removed to perform a bare metal re-spray in the factory color. This FJ is equipped with a Factory A/C system. Although not an option on this particular one, it certainly builds value as majority did not have the ability. In our experience, a majority of the FJ40's you see on the road have not been officially "restored," but updated here and there. This is an awesome truck, I would never sell it except I have a teen that needs a car. The Line-X coating is awesome and comes with a lifetime warranty from Line-X agains tears, chips and fading. The cost to cover was over $6000 to have done. One of the most interesting parts is that it almost never needs washing, don't ask me why. This FJ has a 3" Suspension Lift, the 9 Speaker Radio and the Diff Locker (off road like a mountain goat). New Tires, Shocks and fully serviced it's ready for the road. The Transfer case was upgraded at the dealer already so the 4x4 Switch and controller are fixed from the original models. This is an exceptional vehicle that is increasing in value daily. One warning: The Line-X gets a lot of attention, more that I ever wanted. Most days I drive it someone takes a picture, and everyone has to touch it. I have to factor another 10 minutes to my schedule if I even pull into the parking lot of Cabela's.
